George Zimmerman has been arrested and is en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.
It's not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.
He said more information would be available shortly.
WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.
The Sheriff's Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka.

This will continue. He can't help himself. Sure, his fans will keep on saying "it wasn't his fault", but over time, after the 3rd, 4th, 5th such "incident"... What i meant is that he has a keen understanding of how the legal system works. If he had just lawyered up, he never would have had this big trial.
The LAST incident, he supposedly smashed an ipad which contained video of him doing the assault, pretty smart. Then when they arrived about the gun threats, he just said the gun was his bodyguard's. Now he KNOWS what to say and do to elude arrest. Smash video, pass off the gun, and you lawyer up. Most people sink themselves with their own words. ZImmeramn has learned to STFU and let the lawyers get him out of it.

I predict zimmerman probably did smash someone's face, but he'll 100% walk on this charge, and the next one, and the next one. It'll never be his fault in the eyes of his supporters, of course. One day, he'll possibly end another life... and at that point, I'm betting the jury will do what they did to OJ, and OVER-COMPENSATE for the old shit he did.

He was put on trial in the trayvon case due to the INCONSITENCIES in the 3 versions of his story. Every time, it was more embellished, and more "cracks" emerged in light of the 911 calls.
Had he gotten a lawyer instantly - said " I feared for my life and I fired" and that was it - there never would have been a trial.
Now, I think he's certainly gotten the hang of it. I'm being serious here... I think he smashed someone's face, will lawyer up, will "counter-charge" her, claiming he only acted in self-defense, and he'll totally walk on the charges. Smart people, even violent ones, usually avoid jail.

The Sheriff says the woman claims Zimmerman pointed a DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN at her, pushed her out of the house. He then allegedly barricaded the front door with furniture.
Zimmerman is currently in solitary for his protection and he's being checked on every hour.

I assume you're aware that there are many people in jail who brandished a gun and were not caught on video
His wife chose not to press charges last time but this woman may well choose to do so

The more stunts he pulls the fewer people willing to support him. If he ever comes before a jury again they are going to convict. I have no doubt of that. As a gun owner, I feel strongly this man shouldn't be owning weapons if he's wiping them out at the smallest provocation.

the chick called first and when Zimm pushed her out of the house and the cops show up then HE calls 911
there was no emergency that warranted his call and he even states on the call that he's trying to get his story out

I think most agree he is a piece of shit just like most that dont have some emotional connection would agree trayvon was a piece of shit as well.

The case is pretty important on a number of fronts. It shows how a handful of people can manipulate the justice system. It shows how powerful the media is and how it can destroy people. It highlights how racially polarized the country can be. It's a case study in how people can look at the exact same set of facts and see entirely different things.
And one of the most outrageous parts is what the federal government can do to an individual, with impunity. They set up a website (or phone number?) asking the entire country for dirt on a private citizen. Scary stuff.
Doesn't really matter whether the guy was guilty or innocent. Any citizen should be concerned about what the government can do when it has someone (who has not been convicted of a crime) in its crosshairs.

If I'm on the jury, yes, tony, I believe Zimmerman was the instigator. Even if we dont know who threw the first punch - He was the instigator by chasing a person 2 blocks. If I have to run to get away from you - and you chose me two blocks (and you're armed... a 9mm isn't easy for a fat man to hide while running) - Then yes, Zimm is already the aggerssor.

Trayvon could have aimed and fired on Zimmerman, and he could have said "I ran two blocks to escape a trained MMA Adult with a gun who was chasing me - I feared for my life".
Tony, a jury could have very easily found Zimm to be the aggressor in this situation. You don't have to PUNCH someone - You just have to create FEAR in them that they will be hurt or killed. running two blocks after someone could be enough for a jury.

You can assume that but you'll never know. It also raises several questions. Why would Zimmerman engage in a fist fight with Martin if he had his gun readily available? Why would Martin, a kid supposedly scare for his life, fight a man with his gun out? Why, if Martin knew Zimmerman had a gun, he wasn't saying this when Goode approached the two of them fighting? We can all fill in the blanks with the story we find the most satisfactory but it's all speculation. No one will ever know.

Well, of course it's all speculation. We don't know that zimmerman started a fistfight. It's possible he arrived in the alley where trayvon was hiding, and he was holding the gun, and trayvon tackled him, fearing for his life. And after trying to pin him for 30 or 45 seconds, zimm got that gun up and capped him.
It'd make the most sense, to be honest... zimm's lawyer admitted he lied about details. We know he had 3 different stories about the way he drew the gun... sure seemed improbable.
it's real life... zimm was excited and angry, but scared too. He was screaming, scared shitless on that tape. Trayvon's on top of him for 30 or 45 seconds and maybe he got hit twice? Trayvon was pinning him to keep that gun from coming out.
it's all speculation on a past criminal trial now. Zimmerman got away with the shooting. He got away with domstic abuse and the assault on LEO. He got away with lying to judge. he got away with the old man assault. He just got released on the preggo assault and hey, he's gonna beat that charge too.
Zimm knows the system now. It's just weird that people aren't cheering for him about getting away with pointing shotgun at preggo woman, like they did for shooting the teenager.
