5 sets of side laterals with 10kg dumbells for 10-15 reps
5 set of lateral raise laying on my side on incline bench 5kg dumbell for 10-12 rep
5 set bent over delt raise with 20kg, 18kg, 16kg for 10-12 rep
5 set behind neck press smith machine 15kg each side for 10 rep or so

when i was a skinny little bitch my best clean and jerk was 132,5kg

dont feel bad, I also have weak side laterals... BUT, I do them with way more strict form than the other guys swinging the 50lb dumbells with their entire body.
I personally use the 27.5lb dumbbells and make sure that I lower the laterals to my hip rather than in front of my body (a tip from big chiro flex) and it seems to make a big difference where I feel it.

Speaking of raises and presses. Anyone else disgusted by just about every person in the gym, grabbing dumbbells or a loading up a barbell way too heavy and pressing with a ROM starting from the top of their head. Not just one or two, but everyone. Irritates the hell out of me.

The goal should be to use the lightest amount of weight possible to achieve peak muscular contraction of the targeted muscle. In other words your mindset is backwards. That's why my delts are bigger. :)

I agree for everything EXCEPT direct deltoid work. Delts are not a primer mover like chest, legs....the function of the shoulders is circumduction, not moving heavy loads.
Then again whatever you seem to be doing is working like a charm so I won't argue with the legendary BigRo

I like to mix it up for delts mate as low as 6 up to 20 reps heavy and lighter but always intense :)

Yeah, I actually used the 20's last week as I started upping my reps into the 12-15 range. I used the 27.5s for 4-6 prior to that, but I'm starting to feel that I'm getting much better results from higher reps for shoulders.

I agree. Im seeing much better results throttling back the weights and increasing the reps quite a bit.

I won't engage in your trolling brah, not the point of the thread or my post. You as a competitor should remember what you look like a week after a show, when you've been low carb dieting for 16 weeks.
For those who havent competed: For 7 days post contest, you look INSANE from all the shit you're eating. But this only lasts 1-2 weeks. Then you lose your lines and transition back to the "looks big in clothes, average when shirtless" bodybuilder phase.

I think the same thing....it's all about how lean I am. To me, my pics only look decent when shredded, which I haven't been contest shredded In a few years. In clothes and in real life, the difference between now and natty is night and day. But without proper detail (like you have currently), my pics aren't that cool man.

My first cycle was magical. Like 30lbs in 10 weeks. That was the first time I started getting compliments and such on my size.
I always used t-shirt size as my gauge for growth. At my peak natty days (pretty much these pics in the red), I would wear a Large and it would be fairly loose.
Now I can only buy XL and I fill out the upper half of the shirt pretty well.
I refuse to grow into XXL. It would just looked retarded on me being 5'10. I try to keep my weight under 230 now.

if he was on gear for his contest he should have displayed a lot more hardness, separation, and detail... he had that 'I dieted natural and got smooth from losing muscle' look.

Never measured natty, always felt extremely gay, but peak off season natty, I'd guess like 16-16.5 or so?
My physique has always been arm/delt dominant. Shitty chest, grows very slow :(

Recently I've switched from heavier weights to lighter weights for my deltoid exercises, the results are much better, deltoids are just one of those muscles that sometimes just grow better with light weight.
