As you may or may not know, our resident celebrity, Mike Arvilla (aka Arzilla), it getting ready for his very first show. He is about 12 weeks out and looking to do some MONSTER damage.
I thought it would be a nice gesture if one or all of you would visit the thread on his "Road to Compete", and offer your thoughts, input, feedback, ideas, etc.

Help from pros nowadays , hell they don't give a shit about anybody but themselves. You won't see any of them there, unless some cash comes their way.

Shawn was awesome. His arms are among the best ever. The separation in his quads was crazy and the detail in his back was sick.

Looking at his pictures (or any pictures of someone other than a pro) always makes me think what do you think the hardest pose for a nobody is to hit and look reasonable doing?
The easiest have to be the front double bi, rear double bi, lat spread, side tri, ab shots.
Personally I think the hardest has to be the side chest, everytime I see someone do that pose (or myself for that matter) it exposes them.

what an achievement for two people in their 40 ', trying to live the life on the internet and focusing on bodybuilding, using steroids and looking like pure crap, delusional and insecure bitch having a boob job...
everything screams "we need psychiatric help" in their life.

Props to Mike for dieting down and training for a show. Sure, he doesn't look like a pro, but I think he's a good example of how an average 38-year old guy who trains looks without drugs. You got a lot of guys walking around at a chunky 250 under some kind of delusion that they could win a show. The reality is that it takes discipline AND confidence to drop 50-60 lbs. to get into contest shape. I weigh about 235 and I know that at 210 I look even crappier (skinny-fat). To compete, I'd have to be at 185 or so, which means getting through those stages where you look even worse than when you started because you lose the rib fat but still have the back fat.
Anyone who's never competed should really keep their mouth shut because you truly have no idea what it takes.

Actually I do give respect to S. Ray for his BB.... I give props to Chic, he is in my top ten of Reality TV Stars and he is a str8 shoot who got beef with Mustafu..
But Milos is a snythol head who gets punked on a reg. basis. Too condesending and an overall prick
Lee is funny but sometimes, like as in recently, he goes crazy and starts talking out the side of his mouth... no one likes a deisrespectful midget.

wake up dude, if it doesn't involve selling drugs, eating, training, getting laid, furthering their "career", doing "posing sessions", GH injections, trips to the grocery store, going to the bathroom, posing in the mirror, walking around with Inflated Lat Syndrome while carrying a gallon jug of water, obtaining drugs, these guys couldn't be bothered, the funny thing is that these pro twats are still driving around in 1992 Ford Tauruses.

I'm a big fan of short people, so I always kinda likes Lee. Short people are great. Shawn is kinda short too, so I like him as well. Both are/were among the best ever as well in IFBB bodybuilding.

I always wondered the same, which is why I thought of creating this thread.
If their reason for posting on this board is to promote themselves and/or their supplements, I would think the "Member Pics" board would be one of the best places to do that. More people there workout, and there are oodles of gullible newbies...

Well we all know that the pros get paid to bullshit naive kids in the magazine ads, but since the pros probably aren't being directly compensated by supplement companies for posting on here, most of 'em don't bother wasting their time spreading the same lies in cyberspace about the magic of certain supplements.

You guys should know by now that the only way to get Chick to reply is to insult him. After all, what nice things has he ever said about anyone?
So without further ado, I noticed that Mr. 300K himself lives in a rental apartment in Playa Del Rey, outside of LA. Call me crazy, but wouldn't you figure a 41-year old guy pulling down 300K/year could easily afford an actual home that, you know, appreciates in value? I mean his rent is $2000/month, so you gotta figure that leaves him $276K a year of disposable income. So even if he drops another $800/month on his leased Mercedes, we're still talking about $265K. So basically, the guy either: 1) allegedly has a serious drug habit; 2) is, you know, one of those millionaires who CHOOSE to live in a non-beachfront rental 40 minutes out of the city; or 3) another insecure bodybuilder who thinks bragging about fictitious income will silence his critics.
Or maybe he's gonna tell us that Warren Buffet personally advised him to wait for the real estate bubble to burst. In the meantime, property values in the greater LA area have more than doubled in the past 5 years.
Maybe now, Mr. Athlete Rep will wish Mike 'Good Luck'
