Check the pics, not even close!

:)
-
Obvious troll is obvious.
93 Yates was most the dominant win in history.
-
Check out the most muscular pic of sonny Schmidt, Dorian, and flex its not even close!
-
No gimmick here mates!

lmao whenever someone says " I'm not a gimmick " it means you're a gimmick
-
No this is CSWOL
3:10 mark of the video says it all!!!
-
He's gotta be jonesing to get that itchy orange jumpsuit off and slide that soft purple striped shirt back on
-
Where is groink at is he incarcerated?
-
Check the pics, not even close!
He certainly destroyed him in the legs and arms department, as well as the tighter more streamlined midsection, even though Dorians was still in check at that point. Flex also had a wickedly striated back (both pics from 1993 Mr. O). Had Flex shown up in his early 1993 contest shape, he could have possibly taken it that year. He was just a little too soft at the Mr. O.
-
I'd rather look like Wheeler than Yates.
-
Hahah this gimmick's thread got jack faster then flex vs a group of ninjas.
-
Shoulders Calves Back= WIN

Shoulders Calves Back= WIN
So you're ignoring quads, biceps, midsection and overall leanness?
-
Looks like Labrada & Yates had best legs in the show
-
I've watched the video.
By himself, Flex is the best ever.
Next to Dorian he looks small and softer.

In that first pic Flex looks to have a smaller waist than 205 Ray and 185-190+ Lebrada.

Indeed he does

Someone post the sonny Schmidt, Dorian, flex most muscular picture!

Sounds like a serious case of SRS (Shawn Ray Syndrome)
-
I absolutely loved wheeler but yeah yates is the alpha there hands down when standing next to each other. yeah wheeler may have a more pleasing look from the from waitst up . Just that lat thickness on yates in that lat spread (my god)
-
Bodybuilding would be very different today had Flex Wheeler won that show... :-\
-
Only Deserved multi Olympia winners are: Arnold, Lee Haney, and Ronnie Coleman! The other multi winners are all just political moves! Dorian and Jay all politics!

Yeah Sergio's wins were 100% politics ::)
-
Sergio, as for him once Arnold was chosen he was forgotten about!
-
Only Haney deserved all his titles. Arnold didn't, Dorian didn't, Ronnie didn't, Jay didn't and Phil doesn't.

In some pics, Mike Christian looked like he could've beaten Haney in 1990

90 DEPENDING ON PICS/PERSONAL VIEW,,LABRADA COULD HAVE TAKEN IT BUT LEE SAID FLEA LABRADA IS NOT BIG ENOUGH..MIKE CHRISTIAN LOOKED GREAT TOO..
-
I've heard this and seen the pics and videos.
This was the only drug tested Olympia. Which is bullshit BTW.
-
Maybe since the Olympia sanctioned event is basically a dictatorship they should have introduced legislation that no champ can win more than 2 consecutive sandows, that they must sit out 1 year after 2 wins, this would of made the landscape more legit!
-

this show was probably last time you would see most of these guys smaller and 91 and then into yates reign even smaller guys like labrada got bigger than ever ,lee was at or over 190ish at 5'4 on stage and with his great shape and symmetry looked even bigger lb for lb.
-

He was closer to 5'3" legit and 185 at that point, but had great symmetry and shape. He tried to play the size game by the early 90's coming in at 195, but then bowed out with dignity and integrity.

Yeah, Haney was way off, as most were..
-

Arnold had almost no competition in the 1970's. At least no one close to being in his league. When he returned in 1980 competition was improving. He wouldn't have beaten a 1982 version of Lou Ferrigno, or guys like Lee Haney whose muscle was more dense and was more of a complete package (had actual legs).
Ronnie's 2002 win was HUGELY debatable.
-
Yeah, Haney was way off, as most were..
HIS delts look great there tho but lower to outer lats were down and lower back..even so I bet strydom could still not beat this back in 90 ..
-
Yeah, Haney was way off, as most were..
Haney's Rear Double Bi looks terrible there. He redeemed himself in 1991.
-

Yes, no drugs vs. drugs.
-
Mike Christian was ripped in 1990. A bit smaller... but looked very good.
Great most muscular at 2:29
-
I'd rather look like Wheeler than Yates.
outed...
-
So you're ignoring quads, biceps, midsection and overall leanness?
Wheeler had superior biceps, but quads? Overall leanness? LOL.
Sorry, Danimal; I say that mockingly, but I do not mean to mock you.
It's just that I don't see Flex taking any compulsory pose except maybe the front double-biceps. Yates murders him on the rest -- including, yes, the ab/thigh. Yates' shoulder/lat taper to waist and the general superiority of his wheels SMOKES Flex in that pose ... the only reason Flex looks more aesthetic there is because he's crunching his quad down to show cross-striations. Yates, meanwhile, is showing the "thigh-rod," far superior thigh size, hams and calves.
And again, overall leanness? ?! Huh?! Kenny was very ripped for this show, but Dorian was literally a cut above (hahahaha pun intended hahaha ... ha). Flex was actually lucky to make it past Shawn Ray in this outing; he was never a threat to the Doz -- not even close.
And yes, that's coming from someone who HATED Flex's shit, arrogant personality BUT would have preferred he should've won every show he entered so long as he was in-shape, the 1993 Olympia included.
-
labrada shouldve won in 1991. he was the best in 1990 also.
wheeler;'s back wasnt thick enough. his legs were on the slim side for a massive pro also.
flex had great arms and delts. calf implants means he wasnt the best BB at all IMO.
yates had a huge back, quads, calves and decent pecs and was granite dry.
thats about how it went..

There's no way that Labrada could beat Yates & Haney on the same night
240-250lb will always beat 190lb
-
I don't think anyone has ever had a better torso than Lee Haney. Even better than Oliva.

Coleman did. Haney was awesome, but had small arms in relation to his torso. Prime Ronnie was ridiculous.

Ronnie had an odd looking abdominal wall , and lackluster serratus and intercostals in his prime. Haney's arms were not small. Bodybuilding being arm dominant vs. torso dominant in the mid 90s. I guess it depends on what you like.

Samir and Momo Makaway both beat Haney at the 1983 Mr. Olympia. Samir was 188 pounds and Momo was 160 pounds. Haney was 230. There goes your "always" rule.

Haney at 250 was untouchable

I think they were both awesome in the context of the era they were in. Head to head is hard for this, but have to give Ronnie the nod for the sheer mass and conditioning and overall crazy factor. The gut sucks, but that was pretty much all of them at that point.
There's a MM pic backstage with him, Levrone, and Ray. To me, that shot showed just how far ahead of them he was. If you look at each one individually, they all look insane, but comparatively he's just way ahead.

Vince Taylor beat Labrada in 1991 and deserved it. Labrada looks good in pics but in person next to Dorian and Haney it's no contest.

Flea Labrada...

I met Lee Labrada in a movie theater in San Antonio once.....he was very nice, very short, pretty thick and very wide.

That video shows how superior Yates was. Flex and Shawn look great in their own right, but get waxed next to Yates - his side tri shot shows it well.

Depends on how you see it. Had Flex or Shawn won, we possibly would not have seen the decline of the physiques like today. Ultra big, unaesthetic with guts. It was Yates winning (along with Momo) that help bring bodybuilding down this path.

Dude got up to 200 pounds before retiring. For someone of his height that's HUGE.
-
yates had the best side tricep pose out there
and from the back no comparison .

you never hear of a tru labrada offseason weight .he seemed to be at his contest weight or close by 10or so lbs ,I was reading article on him recently and I guess in print labrada needs to be diplomatic and keep his own usage to himself ,he stated at the 90 Olympia he was all for the testing and of course felt like he won, also he thought the drug testing would have been implemented full time then on out.he competed till 94 straight took yr off and then did swan song show 96.he is all into the new classic division and says it will take time to shake out the rollout,he says gives some bbers a chance not to be 'all in'and push themselves into whatever modern bbing has become..here's where he kinda fell off in regard to 'hunter'he's 5'9 and lee claims 250 lbs right now offseason 'obviously not on labrada products'he will compete soon at 225 lb ,way different size/look as his dads...
-
My friend use to be Lee labradas training partner in Houston, Texas.
-
Ronnie's midsection just ruins it :-\
I think one is doing a vacuum and the other isn't. Epic good comparison as per.
-
Dorian talks how Arnold's friends with Rothschilds and so on, you fuckers are asleep! I like Dorian because he's awake and tells the truth not because he was Mr. Olympia!
-

Ronnie couldn't do a vacuum , that's the entire point isn't it? Ronnie had a minuscule waist like Lee at one point but at the same weight , Ronnie was pregnant
-
Lee at 249lbs compared to Ronnie at 247lbs :-X
Lee is relaxed in his pics

Like I said, Lee Haney is the greatest bodybuilder of all time. He is the total package. Physically, mentally and spiritually. Arnold is a severely flawed man with bad taste in women. Not mention, some of his shows he won were rigged to push an agenda. But I digress. Lee Haney is the greatest.

Lee Haney had flaws in his physique (smallish arms/legs), but overall he had a powerful physique by '84. If you look at his '82 shows he wasn't killing it at all. Improvements in '83, but come '84, he had dialled in, upped the bodyweight to 240 from 230 from the previous year at 5'11" and he just kept improving year in and year out (with exception to the year he came in drug free). I feel he could have kept improving even more had he continued into '92/'93, stepping onstage at 260 shredded and huge.

I read an article that Haney was as high as 259 pounds for one of his Mr. Olympias. Which year was that?

this,...not one of his competitors or anyone else for that matter ever had a bad word to say about him, the consummate professional and true gentleman.

89 He was admittedly to heavy and not in great condition.

exactly he never had any competition to truly beat him other than christian'genetically'there were the shape guys 'but they were too small'gaspari no matter what when he played size came he still couldn't out muscle lee, when he tried to come in harder he lost on size 'haney had the structure and shape to be beat him those 3 yrs'.

Thanks. Do you know what his highest offseason bodyweight was?

Matarazzo told me one time that when he first competed against Haney he was walking out from backstage directly behind him and thought "holy shit" when he saw Haney's back.
I remember thinking Holy Shit just looking at Matarazzo and wondering what it must be like to be that jacked and still in awe of someone else.

got that right:
check out 1999: :o

Looking at that collage reminded me of something. Why does Ronnie's '01 (Olympia) showing look markedly different from any other year of his? Look at his chest, see how it looks totally different?
His back as well, and '01 wasn't his lowest weight either, notice hos '02 despite being smaller looks better in the RLS

Yates is right about Arnold and the Globalists. Arnold is totally on board with this. Nice to see that Dorian's eyes are open.

2 dead pros, Mike and Sonny - RIP!
I didn't know that Sonny had passed away. He was a great bodybuilder. Very underrated and overshadowed by the greats from the 90's. Another one who got lost in the shuffle of greatness from that era.
-

1999 probably best overall but 2005 very impressive, great mix of everything. Shame he dropped off so fast after that. Probably be better at 265 not 275 that year but maybe worse even by that point so who knows.
