Pompous and an arogant whilst oozing overbaring self importance, the side effects of having a barbell allergy.

its not the point

its about bragging how hard you train when you train purely on machines. I understand the logic behind it but dont pretend you work harder than anyone else when it boils down 80% to genetics.

Going balls to the walls on squats, deadlifts etc is a ticket to injury I learn that the hard way, after different injuries over the years I now go easy with free weights and balls to the wall on the machines.

Intensity is the key, train smart, walk around unaided in your old age.

Early Predictions:  IF Kevin gets on stage he will get ovation after ovation.  Phil will get booed.  Phil will curse the audience out after he wins and people will boo even louder.

Everyone will go to Kevin's afterparty
Nobody will go to Phil's afterparty (again)

I am not a Phil fan and even I would be annoyed if a 52 year old man was getting all of the attention and I was on my way to tying Dorian Yates for Olympia wins

It won't matter of Phil wins this year, all the attention will be on Levrone if he actually competes

This year is strange because I can see Phil losing to several people, Dexter of Phil is off, Rhoden just because Rhoden is better now overall, Ramy of Ramy comes dialed in and Cedric if he was 100%. His
Because he's so narrow, his wider waist now makes him look like Jay Jr. only narrow. He's very vulnerable despite what people think.

Ehawn Rhoden needs to wake up onstage, work on his posing, and controlling his stomach. I thought he was in first after prejudging on Friday. He looked the best to me but I could see him losing based upon how lazy and sloppy he was on stage. Turned out the experts said the same thing I did after prejudicing. The people I know who are exeperte  also kept saying Dexter and Shawn were killing Phil on Saturday.

My friends don't think they will let Phil get 7 so they think he will lose next year. If he looks like he did at prejudging last year I think he can loseZ

His theory is that they don't want him to get as many as Arnold. If you saw him last year you would only believe he has 1-2 years left to compete.

and using too much weight causes shitty form.

That's the problem with the doomsday people who are whining about benching, squatting and deadlifting causing issues for them.  Almost every one of these people operate with the assumption that everybody else is as weak minded / physically deficient as they are.

If you're the type of retard who does 20 sets of squats every week, sure, you might be fucking yourself up for the future.  If you're the type of retard who does squats or deadlifts, even though you know your lower back is getting sore every week, you're fucking yourself up.  If you're the type of retard who has to strap yourself together to get through them, yep, you're probably fucking yourself up.

All these things contribute to this perception by the weak minded (or just plain unlucky) that it is impossible to use compound weights all the time and not degrade and then they turn up here and talk shit about it, rather than making themselves accountable for their actions (and that doesn't mean it is their fault, shit happens).

If you don't get a handle on yourself and what you're capable of, sure, you might fuck yourself up - but if you operate within your limits and you don't turn up for one rep max lifts every week, chances are that you'll become intelligent enough about how your body reacts to not fuck up.

Personally, I suspect the belt is where shit goes wrong on squat and deadlift.  It's a lot like people not going all the way down on bench.  People are training beyond what their bodies can handle and when that bar just goes a little too low on those benches or the form goes a bit bad in squat and deadlift (and yes, correct, it will go worse on heavier weight), the lack of strength built up from not training without an aid comes home to roost.  That being said, maybe I have the joints to pull that shit off.  Again, my personal bias affects my suggestions on what to do and it might be TERRIBLE advice for someone else :)

squats should be used as an overall body and core strengthener, not a leg exercise, the amount of weight your legs can push far outweighs what your low back can take.
Sooner or later if you keep pushing the weight on squats you will blow a disc.

At this point people are hating and now lying to feed their hate. Of course he trains hard. He has great genetics on top of but is flawed just like every single bodybuilder ever.

What's with people cussing and acting hardcore when they train? 10 reps to failure is no big deal.  After you hit failure in any given rep range it's not like you can train any harder. Bodybuilding style training is not difficult.

You sound like one of those pussy gym boys who uses a belt on the lat pull downs and think you are hard because you went to failure on legs extensions.

the only flaw kevin has is

-narrow clavicle
-small dick
-back genetics not up to mr olympia level either

except for this and obviously, his manlet height, he might be the most genetically blessed man in recorded history

Maybe not. Shawn didn't talk much to the camera between sets or during. He used a combo of free weights and machines, yet he was very intense (from vids) and strong. Using 150-180 pound Dumbbells for bench press. He seemed more old school than new school (drugs and training) and it showed in his physique. If Phil took the same approach to everything, his physique may loose the bloofy look and have more striations and detail. He possibly would look like a bigger version of his rookie self.

You have to be a total moron to believe Phil doesn't train hard.

At this point people are hating and now lying to feed their hate. Of course he trains hard. He has great genetics on top of but is flawed just like every single bodybuilder ever.

His training is uninspiring. Haney didn't do stupid lifting like Ronnie and branch  but he at least looked interested and engaged. Phil looks lole those guys that holler and shout when doing curls on the machines.

You sound like one of those pussy gym boys who uses a belt on the lat pull downs and think you are hard because you went to failure on legs extensions.
I don't think I'm "hard" for going to failure on any exercise. Going to failure on any exercise within the typical bodybuilding rep range is not difficult.  That's the whole point that I was making.  Stop trying to argue for the sake of arguing, it's unintelligent.

its not the point

its about bragging how hard you train when you train purely on machines. I understand the logic behind it but dont pretend you work harder than anyone else when it boils down 80% to genetics.

The FST7 stuff is quite hard. The buildup of lactic acid is nauseating and painful. It is not the same kind of "hard" as in the Branch Warren suicidal training approach, but still hard.

I find Phil Heath's training interesting in that it seems intelligent with regard to the purpose, while Branch Warren comes across as a macho retard.
