Damn! Seems to be accurate though, in between 5'11" Chris Cormier and 5'6.5" Shawn Ray. :-\
-
Ray probably has heels/lifts on. Ronnie would be 5'8 ish
-
you will still have the face of a mongaloid joe.
-
Sad to see Ronnie being dwarfed by Shawn!
-
a drama queen and coke head standing tall over ronnie. :'(
-
Sad.
He will be Lee Priest size by this 4th of July.
-
Shawn is clearly wearing Stallone-lifts in that pic.
He's a midget next to Ronnie

Bearing in mind how many back surgeries Ronnie has had hes shrunk, its bound to have happened.
-
I feel bad for Ron. Imagine how much it hurts to go from the top guy to a cripple?

Lookin' back, he would've done exactly the same (except that he'd have squatted the 800 for 4 or 5 reps 8))

Without his "mistakes" he wouldn't be a loving father and multi-millionaire with 8 sandows on his stove today... ::)

Do you think he has that money now? I bet he has negative cash flow.

he doesnt even know how many kids he has
8 Sandows and a cripple at 55 is hardly a trade off, and money isnt going to give him another 20 years of good health
-
Do you think he has that money now? I bet he has negative cash flow.
RCCS still bringing in cash, he'd be a millionaire.
Though not big time rich, the surgeries would be costing a shitload.
-
Money is meaningless when your health is no good, at least he is able to look after his family well and is respected (though pitied which is fucked).
-

Chris is 5’9 at best and I don’t think Ronnie is standing up all the way, he’s prob around 5’8 max
Matt C approved

To think Ronnie is 55 and Lee labrada is 60
-
Ray is definitely wearing a lift kit. Cormier was about 1" taller than Coleman. I'd say Coleman has shrunk about 2 inches.

Remember ronnie has herniated literally every disc in his back and is slumped over and twisted to fuck, hips too, it's all fucked.
He can't stand up straight.
-
Brother lost 3" of height due to back problems.
-
people arguing about Shawns platform heels
Fucks sake, Ronnie has shrunk, live with it....
-

Ronnie is still taller than Labrada.

Phuck off Dosser!

Such a healthy “sport”. Why is Cormier holding a purse?
-
I feel bad for Ron. Imagine how much it hurts to go from the top guy to a cripple?
He did this to himself knowing full well the potential consequences. I have zero sympathy.

Ronnie going from Superhero to Cripple is sad.
-
It makes sense if you add up all of the inches of his degenerated discs.
-

Ronnie is still taller than Labrada.
But Labrada looks 100 times better and is healthier.

If he had money he would health insurance.

ronnie is the happiest looking person in that pic

Not much of a surprise.
Hulk HOgan lost several inches, after, what, eight, nine, back surgeries? He was around 6’6 and is now about six.
As well, as already said, Ronnie is all torqued, twisted and totalled. Hunched.
The man NEVER had the frame and “engineering” of a top-flight strength athlete.
-
Funny I just rewatched his documentary on Netflix late last night. It's crazy how destroyed his body is. It's just sad watching him hoble around. How's his liver doing from yrs of juice and now copius amounts of painkillers
-

For his pencil crayons?

Using decent form with less heavy weights would have probably helped.

He's gotta keep his stash nearby ;)

He probably snatched it from some woman

You could cut off Ronnie's legs and he would still be taller than Labrada.

It would make more sense to cut off flex wheelers leg as he is already halfway there

Without his "mistakes" he wouldn't be a loving father and multi-millionaire with 8 sandows on his stove today... ::)
Without his mistakes he would have been 10 TimeS mr. O , still walking tall , minus the enormous hospital bills.

No wonder Shawn retired... He thought Dorian was tough, ronnie was totally unstoppable during his prime years.

The man NEVER had the frame and “engineering” of a top-flight strength athlete.
The man lifted inhuman weights for volume day in day out, on top of cardio/diet, up until his mid 40's. No major injuries or tears while he was training (maybe a left lat tear depending on who you ask). Well-balanced strength, no weakpoint lifts. Hell, the guy even competed in powerlifting for a while.
Calling his intelligence or judgement into question I could see, but I dont understand how anyone could call his physical structure anything less than "top-flight". Care to elaborate?

Come on. Do I really have to do this?
He FAR exceeded, with drugs and hormones, his structural tolerance to withstand heavy, heavy weight training.
Now he’s almost in a wheelchair.
Elite strength athletes, the TRUE greats (Kaz, Coan, etc.), also use copious amounts of drugs and hormones, but they, to varying degrees, do NOT experience the shocking bodily destruction as is now displayed by Coleman.
His muscles’ ability to exert force (again, by using and abusing) far, far, far exceeded his “architectural” blueprint.
And too much stress was applied, for a considerable amount of time.
In short, his engine (muscles) was too powerful for his chassis (spine, connective tissues, etc.).

Hahahahaha!

A few power lifting elites lifted more than Ronnie but none of them have done following a bodybuilding program. It's truly inhuman what he did and he destroyed his body doing it. I can't imagine any of the great powerlifters around Ronnie's weight doing four exercises a body part twice a week with inhuman weights. Most power lifters are lucky if they do 3 or 5 exercises a training session. Yates is another. The list is long of bodybuilders with destroyed bodies.

This could go ‘round and ‘round forever. Not interested.
But I respect your opinion.

You are correct about Ronnie exceeding what his body could handle, but the brunt of his injuries came from his post-Olympia training stupidity, rather than his training during his Olympia reign.
I hate to say that - I like Ronnie - but that's the way I see it.

He said he injured his back squatting, heard what sounded like a gun shot sound, but didn't have any pain and continued training. The next day he realised he had injured his back. This apparently caused nerve damage which led to his lat atrophying.
If he modified his training after the injury, he could have probably avoided a lot of his problems.

it's not a purse,it's EUROPEAN

Coleman has the same "accessory" in the same photo
except with a strap to keep his hands free for crutches.

From some of the stories I’ve heard from the Westside Barbell guys, they’re in no better shape. Dave Tate’s injury list is probably longer than Ronnie’s. Are you gonna say that he wasn’t cut out for strength sports either?
Pushing your body to the limit is gonna take its toll, no matter who you are.

It's not worth it a second imo....
The body tells you when it's had enough, pushing and pushing a body that's already saying stop is what got ronnie and these other guys where they are, stupidity....
