Post by: Ron on September 14, 2006, 09:43:28 AM
GetBig.com's Question of the Week!

One of bodybuilding's most popular online destinations, GetBig.com is excited to announce the “GetBig.com Question of the Week”.  In association with the popular talk radio show "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly", GetBig.com members can now submit questions each week directed toward PBW’s featured guest!

Prior to each broadcast, GetBig's head moderator, Ron Avidan will personally select one question.  The chosen question will be read "on the air" to the featured guest.  Each week, the winner will receive a $50 Gift Certificate provided by Bodybuilding.com!

Monday's Guest: Ronnie Coleman!

As a police officer what is your stance on taking weights out of the prision system so criminals can't build up stronger and harder to arrest or do you find yourself on the weight training in prisions reduces aggression and makes them safer?

Do you think Bob Chikerilllooo should submit a proposal requiring the current Mr. Olympia to compete more than once a year and if he did would you challenge him to the "shiniest shirt posedown?"  D real name Craig Doussett

maybe you can ask him about his powerlifting before he did bodybuilding and if he would've gone that road instead, what he think he might've accomplished with that (competiting in powerlifting)

Which bodybuilder you respect the most?

Is it true that before the 93 O Billy Smith measured Flex Wheeler at 0.0% BF, the lowest reading that had been recorded up to that time at the venice golds?

Maybe Ronnie can shed some light on this.

You're a funny man.   ;D

Ask him when he trains for size does he keep dohnuts on his mind?

But really I want to know if he thinks that training for one maximum set like he does is optimum for building muscle size or 4 working hard sets?

Ronnie do you think bigger is always better and that the way forward for competitors in the sport of bodybuilding to set new standards will be through the size game ie bigger mass or though you think new standards will be set by improved symmetry, smaller waistlines, conditioning etc?

My question to King Ronnie,

Since you have elevated the bar of standards in professional bodybuilding, win or lose, do you feel content after this year and have any thoughts of retirement? If not, what motivates you after so many Sandows to work harder, and harder every year to be the numero uno?

Thanks,
Tim.

I never said Ronnie wasnt unintelligent. I know firsthand how difficult it is to get in law enforcement. it is no easy task by any means...so are you saying he would NOT answer just like that or close?

If you think he would answer that in any different way then you are just out of the loop or just plain crazy as bat shit.

Here in Chicago...to get into law enforcement with all the Democratic liberal politics infesting merit boards wether is police, corrections or fire you have to be black, ghetto, UNqualified and thats...thats basically about it.

 Gots to fill dem quotas!

I think cops SHOULD be able to use whatever would make them be able to perform better ont he field physically.

I'm not saying it's a requirement but lots of cops, especially new generations of cops are very into BBing or fitness. I say let them.

Most of them do anyway...and let's be clear on this. Most cops have so many fkn skeletons in their closets it will knock your fkn socks right off your piggies.

The first thing being our agreement on the fierceness of Pintus.

Oh yes its true...it is a part of a police officer's culture to have mistresses', wife beating cocaine addictions, a victim of alcoholism and have a daughter that is a trick whore at all the frat parties and a druggie loser son who is in and out of jail.

Firemen are probably in the same boat but at a much larger scale.

Here's a question I'd actually PAY $50 to hear Ronnie answer truthfully....

(it's actually a three-parter, that should be asked in rapid succession while Ronnie struggles to mumble an answer to the first part)

As someone who loves bodybuilding, how do you feel about all the millions of teenage boys who will be inspired to bodybuild because of you... then eventually quit bodybuilding in frustration due to the unrealistic standard mega-dosing steroid users such as yourself portray?

Why do Gustavo Badell and yourself continually claim to be natural?

Have you no integrity?

This is wrong. How about folks that are 30? When I was 16, lee Haney was the man, Shawn Ray, etc, dont blame Ronnie for that...it sjust the way pro bodybuilding is, and you eventually leanr- and find out, its not something "to take up" to turn pro... BUT, you can eat like a pro, (very good diet), and train smart (bodybuilders obvoously know how to train) and they can apply this stuff to help them excel in sports, and maybe get scholarships, and who knows how far it can take them...

JMHO

Dear Ronnie:

We all know you have a HUGE gut, but it appears that for the past several years King Kamali has been trying desperately to match you in gut size. Unquestionably you're the master when it comes to this, but you have to admit King was impressive in this area at this year's Eurpoa in Dallas, where he looked like he had swallowed a large pumpkin or was about to give birth to a small child!  My question to you, Ronnie, is do you think King will ever catch up to you in gut size, or do you think he will always play second fiddle to you in this ever-important area of development for today's IFBB professional?

Last year at the MRO, who did you want to pound into chopmeat more, Don Solomon for asking you those same, annoying quesitons over, and over "SO, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE BEATEN BY GUSTAVO IN THE CHALLENGE ROUND" OR, GUstavo himself.  ;D

Please do tell. As I was watching last year I thought you were going to pummel one of them, the rage was obvious as i can almost see you spitting fire. Solomon has testicular fortitude, for sure.  ;D

Ronnie,

What is your current view of the standard in judging? Are the quality physiques being recognised? What would you like to see changed in the judging criteria?

When you ultimately pass on what do you want your toombstone to read, what legacy do you want to be remembered for?

Great Question!  -- After watching the replay, its clear that Big Ron wanted to squash me like a bug.  During that infamous interview, the TV Director's voice was in my ear BEGGING me to "stir it up" between Ronnie and Gustavo.  - After the show, Ronnie and I laughed about it...as he was celebrating his win backstage.  Thankfully Ronnie was a good sport.  -- Close Call  :)
