Interesting perspective. You are correct, gay bashing, which I dislike, does seem to be far more socially acceptable, on and offline. But as someone who is 'openly' female and a minority on here, I am only ever really slurred for being a minority.

I have always found these "gay" remarks on these forums repugnant. I do not undertand the context in which these remarks are used, it makes no sense. At best it is childish. If the people making these remarks are somehow trying to sound important, tough or superior, it does not work. Ronnie speaks like many southerners do, black or white. the key to the way that they speak, regardless of color, is the linguistic style known as consonent reduction simplification (crs). wherein, consonents are either omitted(to the listener) or barely stressed as in usual speech. this would, to the listener unfamiliar with a dialect that has this property, probably sound unintelligent, or, like "gibberish."

I have always thought the free for all, wild west atmosphere on this board was one of its strengths. True, the level of awareness of some of the posts borders on the Neanderthal, but people have been able to say exactly what they think. There is something about racism that is more incorrect than the others.

2. There have been many wars fought just because of race so racism and the hate racism brings is deeply rooted in the history of man kind. How many wars have been fought about homosexuality? Transsexuality? Obesity? Ford or Chevy? Pee then Poop or Pee and Poop? If there is/was such a war, how many millions have died from it? My point exactly.

There are many reasons why racism and hatred still exists. I hate rappers because they act so ghetto, too urban, and very gang affiliated. Most of these guys look like creatures who stepped out of a horror movie. I know what you mean about other black people ragging on other black people if they start doing well, i had a good friend of mine (black) who started to make quite a bit of money working a normal job, and his old black friends started saying he wasnt "keeping it real anymore" and that he was a "sellout" ??? wtf? and "acting like a white man". Im not racist at all but it seems that they were the ones being racist and try and hold other people back from doing well by trying to ridicule them back into hanging out with them and getting involved with crime like they were doing.exactly. file that phenomenon under "internal oppression."
