Title: Steve McQueen vs Manson Family
Post by: Bodybuilder Lex Reeves on January 10, 2013, 05:13:33 PM
Steve McQueen was on Manson's hit list. He was invited to the party at Sharon Tate's, but didn't go because he got laid instead elsewhere. If he showed up at that party it would have been a different outcome. Steve McQueen would've eaten the Manson Family for lunch.

Definately.

Steve would have KO:d one of the assailants (maybe Charles) and then rushed to the kitchen, arming himself with a knife a la Steven Seagal in "Under Siege".

The rest of the Manson-Family would have been demoralized and would've ran outside, only to meet their fate at the hands of Chick Norris, Conan Lee and Casanova Wong.

Well, neither was Steve McQueen, but let's say he was.

Since Steve is such a big fish, i'm certain Charles would have participated.

I'm not saying he's a Mark Wahlberg level superhero, but he definitely would have definitely put up a fight. He was a real wildcat in his youth.

Rip cooler king.

I think Steves mere presence when the gang entered the room would have changed a whole lot of the outcome.

He would surely put up a fight, even when they came rushing in with knifes.

It would not be too farfetched if he even disarmed one and then chased the rest of them off.

The gang was not at their physical peak.

"On the night of August 8, 1969, Charles "Tex" Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Linda Kasabian were sent by Charlie to the old home of Terry Melcher at 10050 Cielo Drive. Their instructions were to kill everyone at the house and make it appear like Hinman's murder, with words and symbols written in blood on the walls. The four did as they were told and brutally killed Steven Parent, Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger, Sharon Tate and Sharon Tate's unborn child."

The culprits gang only had one male, Charles "Tex" Watson, which would have been subdued by Steve.

This dude would stand no chance against a prime-steve

After Steve had knocked down Charles "Tex" Watson in a Mark Wahlberg-esque manner, he would then line up Susan, Patty and Linda and slapping them all at once with one big pimphand.

Manson is actually from my area and I went to school with one of his relatives. He was bout 5'5" and about 140 pounds soaking wet and NOT a tough guy in any sense of the word. He wasn't even there during the murders and to honest if it wasn't for the media making him out to be some kind of scary monster he would have been out years ago. If there would have been just a couple of tough guys there at the house that night things most likely would have gone down differently.

There were times (when i was younger), that i dreamt of being there at the time of the event, so that i could pimpslap them all and protect Sharon Tate, making her divorce the 5'2 Roman Polanski.. :D

What i'm alluding to, is that one big dude would've been enough to scare these fuckers off.

Steve McQueen-size, Mark Wahlberg-antics or not.

Of course he would, even without Bruce Lee-training.

The so-called "gang" was a skinny out o shape dude called "Tex" and three small bitches.

Steve would have had a field-day there, even without his training with the Master!

Goes without saying!

A more interesting question would be though, What would Woody Allen have done? Replace Steve with Woody and THEN you have a conundrum!

McQueen worked out with Bruce Lee informally. McQueen studied Tang Soo Do under this man Pat Johnson who would have cleaned Bruce Lee's clock:

The results surely are, Bruce never had to walk around with a dirty clock when Pat Johnson was around.

The results spoke for themselves back then.

Pat was quite the trendsetter of his time with that solution.

With such a demand for his expertise, Pat had to clean clocks left and right.

No such thing as a tough guy when you are outnumbered  3 to 1 against men or women with knives, even against one you are at a serious disadvantage.

Ha, blast from the past, I remember Vunak, his ads was a fixture in bodybuilding magazines in the early 90's, his claim to fame was that he had a USN Seal contract back then.

His ads got replaced with SAFTA/TRS ads after a few years.

You can see the Vunak tapes on youtube, they were called "Street Safe".

McQueen was scared after the Tate/Mason murders, he started to carry sometimes after that.

untrue. In ur own home a trained martial artist would grab a chair etc. if. Look at crimes involving knives most victims struggle heroically after being stabbed. Most just aren't trained. N those fucking druggies were wimps. I'm not saying even Bruce or Steve woulda lived thru it but woulda at least neither would have a couple of them.

Thank for posting the vid.  The claim about the navy seal contract was true.  About five years ago we had one of his partners come to our club and he turned everything we learned about knife defense upside down.  Unless you've got a weapon that can keep a guy at arms length, like a pool cue, best to run.  Multiple attackers, forget it.  If your're in a corner use anything you can get your hands on, throw an ashtray or bottle, even the house cat.

Back around 1980 I was at a snooker club in paisley with a couple of friends and a guy called Colin who was the younger brother of one of my pals. Colin had one of his friends who we didn't know with him called Craig.  Well my friends and me were playing snooker when Colin and Craig were attacked by some guys. Craig got hit over the head with a snooker cue.  Me and the rest of the guys went over and kicked fuck out of their attackers (they didnt realise we were with them). No police were called as it was a very sleazy rough place and the management just wanted us all to move on.

Craig took a while to recover and said he had a sore head but wanted to get back to Glasgow.
Turned out he had internal bleeding and the pressure was building up which could cause some sort of haemorage or something but we didnt know that at the time.

Half and hour later we were waiting at the bus stop when Craig dropped dead.   :o :o :o
So be careful with snooker cues.

This happend in Stirling, i was playing snooker with a mate i was about 16 and there was a couple of guys playing for money and one asked us if we wanted a game..i said no, because it was clear they were "at it" . anyway they had an argument about money with a guy who did not want to pay..he pulled a knife out and these two guys just fucking did the guy.. smashed him up bad. we left the hall and the guy never got up again and he was covered in blood. The police arrived and i do not know what happend to the guy. still remember the guy screaming..was quite nasty.

Talking of snooker violence, have any of you American chaps seen the British movie called Scum?
Made in the late 1970's it starred a young Ray Winstone as a boy in a youth correction facility
or Borstal as we call it.

In the film there are a few kunts who pick on people and eventually Ray decides to sort them out.

He uses snooker balls inside a sock to great effect in this scene... ;)
