Manson is actually from my area and I went to school with one of his relatives. He was bout 5'5" and about 140 pounds soaking wet and NOT a tough guy in any sense of the word. He wasn't even there during the murders and to honest if it wasn't for the media making him out to be some kind of scary monster he would have been out years ago. If there would have been just a couple of tough guys there at the house that night things most likely would have gone down differently.

No such thing as a tough guy when you are outnumbered  3 to 1 against men or women with knives, even against one you are at a serious disadvantage.

x2.  I remember a famous martial artist whose specialty was knife defense said, give a twelve year old a magic marker and have him start wailing at you and see how many marks he puts on you before you can take it away.

Arce looks great - somewhat like the typical knuckle for money that appears in highly intellectual Karate Exploiter XX flicks... of course he always is at his boss' side in a leased limo.

Ha, blast from the past, I remember Vunak, his ads was a fixture in bodybuilding magazines in the early 90's, his claim to fame was that he had a USN Seal contract back then.

His ads got replaced with SAFTA/TRS ads after a few years.

You can see the Vunak tapes on youtube, they were called "Street Safe".

.

McQueen was scared after the Tate/Mason murders, he started to carry sometimes after that.

untrue. In ur own home a trained martial artist would grab a chair etc. if. Look at crimes involving knives most victims struggle heroically after being stabbed. Most just aren't trained. N those fucking druggies were wimps. I'm not saying even Bruce or Steve woulda lived thru it but woulda at least neither would have a couple of them.

Thank for posting the vid.  The claim about the navy seal contract was true.  About five years ago we had one of his partners come to our club and he turned everything we learned about knife defense upside down.  Unless you've got a weapon that can keep a guy at arms length, like a pool cue, best to run.  Multiple attackers, forget it.  If your're in a corner use anything you can get your hands on, throw an ashtray or bottle, even the house cat.

I saw a guy in Scotland pull a knife on a guy in a snooker hall, he got smashed over the head with a snooker Que. Got a painful beating. silly boy.

Back around 1980 I was at a snooker club in paisley with a couple of friends and a guy called Colin who was the younger brother of one of my pals. Colin had one of his friends who we didn't know with him called Craig.  Well my friends and me were playing snooker when Colin and Craig were attacked by some guys. Craig got hit over the head with a snooker cue.  Me and the rest of the guys went over and kicked fuck out of their attackers (they didnt realise we were with them). No police were called as it was a very sleazy rough place and the management just wanted us all to move on.

Craig took a while to recover and said he had a sore head but wanted to get back to Glasgow.
Turned out he had internal bleeding and the pressure was building up which could cause some sort of haemorage or something but we didnt know that at the time.

Half and hour later we were waiting at the bus stop when Craig dropped dead.   :o :o :o
So be careful with snooker cues.
