what i think is amazing is that no one, and i mean no one has actually tried to make their legs massive and extremely huge like they would for pec and arm training.
i think we'd see 40 inch + legs if someone did actually do it.
of course no one will because they will just dwarf the upper body.
can you imagine if someone either just trained legs all the time, or put as much work and effort into their legs as they did their arms and pecs?....
alot of guys go through the motions with legs and they still grow huge..many getting to a level and then not training them beyond maintenance routines.
lets take the saem proportionate increase in muscular size as a hypothesis....say you start with a 14 inch arm untrained. and you can get it to 22 or 23 inches max.
that's 60% larger.... or say your chest measurement is 38inch and you can get it to 60inches- that's nearly 60% increase.
you can see that the smaller the muscle starts, the more the % gain you can expect....so starting quad size for normal legs might be 24 inches....you ''could'' expect 55% increase reasonably....so the limit of quads might be around 40 inches.
but if a guy is sporting 34 inch quads then that's only 40% increase.....
