Well, Eric Spoto for starters would school this dude.  :D

Here's "Hulk" doing 600lbs:

Now here's Spoto handling the same weight:

C'mon, if you have to make a comparison with the best bencher in the world right now then that says something about Hulk.....he's a beast.

That's like when folks attempt to discredit great singers who perform "Nessun Dorma" and in order to discredit their performance they can only compare them to Pavarotti LOL.....one of the best of all time.

When you get to elite strength levels like Hulk the only comparisons are against worldclass.  Even Dan Greene can't touch 600lb and Stan Efferding (one of the best in the world today) can barely put it up.  I'm not even sure Kaz could put it up in his prime.  Ted Arcidi could put it up.  These are all elite, best in the world.

The thing is though, I'm just judging this Hulk dude by the stuff that was being proclaimed in the video. During it, we heard the following things being said:

"That's a walking legend right there"
"They whisper about this guy in corners"
"I see it but can't believe it"
"They don't do that shit no more"
"What?! Did he really do that shit?"
"Strongest mother fucker walking around on two legs"
"Strongest mother fucker on planet Earth"
"Cannot be defeated"
"Muhammad Ali of powerlifting"

 :D

After all that hype, I was expecting to be blown away. Instead, all we end up seeing is Hulk doing several paused reps with 405lbs and then a paused double with under 500lbs. :-\
Very strong but come on, there are a number of pro BB's currently around that can do that.  ;D

spotter on the bar but it looked light

Try rest pausing 500 on your chest for a few seconds and pushing it back up, good luck. All of these were 3/4 reps tops and touch and go.

kaz had the record for years...660...paused and very strict judging

this hulk fella couldn't sniff green's or Stan's other numbers in squat and dl

Jeremy hoornstra is stronger bencher than this guy....242 class and 670 bench...raw and officially judged.

Maybe I'm missing something? There appears to be 585 on that bar. Seven plates would be 675.

P.S. Don't be a dumbass. Zack would get pinned for the full count with anything nearing 675.  ::)

P.P.S. 585 for two is incredible, regardless. But Spoto strong?! Not EVEN CLOSE.

Where does it say 675?  :D

Its 260kg which is just under 575lbs. Just used it as an example to show that even some BB's like Zack can more than match this Hulk dude for strength.

Obviously guys like Spoto, Mendelson & Siamand are next level.

Im 100% natural and I can bench press the same weight he did.

Would love to see that. Maybe the next time you're in we can see it?

Henderson was ridiculous. One of the strongest upper bodies in history.

I wonder how much Siamand has done in training, away from the cameras.

'Da' - when using 'The' is just too much darn work.
