It doesn't matter if citizens arrest work well or not. That was not the point you made. You stated only law enforcement officials are allowed to arrest people. Clearly, that is not the case. Whether citizens arrest work well or not is a whole different topic.

Securitas who deliver money to cash dispensers company policy is that if their staff get threatened during a cash drop they hand over the money immediatly and make sure they dont get hurt.

Yet each year they have an award ceremony where staff recieve commendations for holding onto the bags and not getting robbed.

Surely those staff should be being disciplined rather than rewarded??
