Until the democrats/liberals actually get beaten I'll never get my hopes up. People were singing the praises of Romney acting like he had a chance in the last election and he got beaten pretty badly. Most of the laws made/opinions of people seem to be still trending toward liberal ideas. I hope it changes but I don't think it is going to.

I want laws, policies, procedures, and opinions (whatever you want to to call them) to trend toward where the evidence lies. Not what a 2,000 year old fairy tale (bible) says. Not what someone's emotions say. What the evidence says. Would this be the perfect way? Of course not, science is not perfect, but its the closest and best thing we have to determining the truth about something. Any other way is based on emotional appeal, which is extraordinarily biased. Yes, yes, I get that science can be biased, but at least it has some parameters in place to limit its biases. Again, its the only and best method we currently have to determining the truth about a something.

science is not biased, people are.

The data is the data, the interpretation introduces bias.
