The drugs increase protein synthesis well beyond any natural level....and if you think they dont need that much protein, well you are wrong. Nasser attritbutes one of the main factors he blew up in the mid 90s to the fact that he upped his daily protein intake to 600g/day.

Actually Nasser stated time and time again that he would take in around 100 grams of protein or so only.

From what i've read he only upped his protein pre contest, offseason it was as you say only 100 grammes, all this 600grammes bullshit makes me laugh.

hahahaha, yes, me and a friend of mine met him at a show and asked him about the outrageous amounts of protein and he said , "that's all bullshit, i've really got a fairly slow meatbolism and i don't eat very much at all, maybe 100-150 grams of protein per day"

i'm just telling you what the man told us, now i have no way of knowing if he was just joking around but he looked totally serious when he said it, it was in the summer of 2000 at an NPC event, he said that dieting is torture for him because since he doesn't eat much off season he has to eat even less pre contest.

207 was about as low as we wen't...

Here's a sample of my last week:

Meal 1- 15 eggwhites, 1 cup oatmeal

Meal 2- 12 oz. steak, 1 cup white rice

Meal 3- 12 oz. chicken, 8 oz. potatoes

Meal 4- 12 oz. steak, 1 cup white rice

Meal 5- 12 oz. steak, 5 oz. potatoes

Meal 6- protein shake (1c. eggwhites/ protein powder
           small salad w/ balsalmic

Isn't white rice highly glycemic? Why do you go with white rice and not brown? Potatos are fairly glycemic as well.

Have you ever tried South Beach Diet Pizza?  It tastes fucking great, has 10 grams of fiber, 31 grams of protein, 310 calories.

i used to eat this much red meat, got gout at age 25

Nasser is notorious for bullshiting at expos and such when fans aproach him with questions. He gets off this way....it's his favor past time, to get a laugh out of fans that aproach him with questions reagarding some of his legendary quotes from the magazines.

Here in Brazil, he has been here over 2 times. The first one he was a gentleman. The second one you would not recognize him.......complete asshole. In another city, here, on our shores, he was very rude to a TV reporter. Now I give him some of the reasons why being an ass to that reporter, cuz she made that typical stereotype meat heads questions that were made famous to every bodybuilder, at least a dozens times in a month. "Do you take steroids" was the breaking point...he cursed and just left that girl speaking with the air, lol !!!

Not to mention the snorting :-X........lots of it......that is another issue I will just leave it at that.

exactly, to think he was only taking in 100g of protein a day is absurd. You KNOW he was eating like a monster to get that big. Just the amount of chicken these pros eat is rediculous. I recall flex saying he ate over 800g of protein/day :o

Get this:

Dorian Yates (the best, period!) reportedly was featured as saying his daily protein intake was on average 350 grams. Now that's a very reasonable amount, and highly believable. Nothing small, nothing huge. At the time, he jumped onstage @ 260 pounds. Now could you tell me how in the hell Flex Wheeler, notorious for his 'rigorous' contest regimen practices, could need a higher intake of protein, weighing FAR LESS than Dorian himself??


I've read a while back an interview with Jammo Nezzar, in a issue of MUSCLEMAG, that how poor were Flex's eating habits. At the time, Flex was in Birmingham doing a seminar, and  went to Dorian's place just to hang (for those that don't know, Jammo and Dorian are  best- buddies). They spent 3  days together, Dorian , Flex, and Jammo. Jammo said that, while Dorian kept eating chicken and rice 6 times in a day, Flex could not stomach half of that, and in fact ordered pizza after ízza, instead.

Talk about 'monstruous discipline'.......that's when you 'need' all the Clen, T3 and GH in the world, come contest time.

207 g of carbs for bob is fine, the guy is way over 200lbs!  he has the 2:1 ratio of protein to carbs so lay off cuz it definitely works for him and it may not work for you.

He has experimented wid dieting for quite some time in his bb'ing career and obviously his diet will work for his body!

Im sure if you post YOUR diet, you will get some of us askin WTF?
