Please make the case of why posing and performing a routine requires ZERO skill AND ZERO physical exertion... At best you can make the case that bodybuilding is physically easier than many other sports but you can't argue its not a sport if there is even a speck of skill and physical exertion required in a competitive environment. na na nu nanners...  End of Story, and Romano is still a cock smoker. :P

My heart rate waking was 69bpm... still to high for just waking up huh ???

I said with the exeption of maybe posing.......but not many can even do that anymore!

But then if posing is a part of competition and it is, then you agree with me... I can meet you halfway and agree that as a sport it requires much less skill and exertion than some sports but none the less, it still meets the minimum requirements by definition to be considered a sport.

The turd known as Meltdown Romano thinks the dictionary makes his case that Bodybuilding is a pageant.  Truth be told, his bias probably stems from a deep inner hatred of Joe Weider.  Probably something to do with Joe wanting bodybuilding in the Olympics.  Or maybe it stems from some legal argument he has tucked in that pea brain of his for taking steroids that doesn't fit if BB is a sport.  Quite some time ago that steroid lawyer had defended some case and argued that bodybuilding wasn't a sport.  John probably made his decision at that time and hasn't updated his brain cell yet.   One thing is for sure, he's got some bias he's not explaining.  This is the god's dumbest argument and for a guy like Romano to come unglued and insist so strongly that it's not a sport, it must have some special meaning for him. ::)  In Intenseone's case, he's just wrong on everything so I forgive him ;)

hahaha. Yes. I would love to here him explain it. He probably does have some reason tucked away.  There was a guy in the news recently, on trial for having sex with animals. The law says no sex with animals. Well, said animal, happened to be dead, so the lawyer claimed what he did isn't prosecutable, because technically he had sex with a carcass and not an animal lol. I'm not sure if he won the case.

Ok, I'll meet you half way....but until it get's put on ESPN as much as a Hot Dog eating contest or a spelling bee I can't really consider it a sport ;D!!

actually it used to be on all the time so was it a sport when it was on but not now?  I would argue by your last criteria here which is not part of the definition, that you have noted this is a low point in the sport which is true, this is a low point to the sport of bodybuilding but being on ESPN is not the pass for what is and isn't a sport.  Infact you help make my case if you're calling hotdog eating sport there is no way you can say bodybuilding is not.

How did "what is your resting heart rate" get changed to "is bodybuilding a sport"?

PS:

Bodybuilding is not a sport!
