He actually WAS lost in the shuffle in the 1990's. He was competing as far back as 1994 with the pros of that era and back then EVERYONE was placing higher than him (Porter Cottrell and many others)...

I was actually referring to the 2002 GNC Show of Strength where Guter actually beat Ronnie. Gunter is not perfect....but when youre ripped at 300lb...you can beat the big names if they are off. Here are pics from that show...

haha... We all have our opinions I guess. I do think that Dennis HAS great potential, but looking at him today is like looking at a 1992 Ronnie Coleman. He's still in the oven and HOW MANY bodybuilders over the years were in the oven and never came out? Dennis Newman, Mike Francois, Roland Czirlok (spelling), Matt Mendenhall, Bob Paris, Gunnar Rosbo, Rory Leidelmeyer, Gary Strydom, Berry Demey and Mike Christian to name just a few.

The potential is there, but he's NOT there yet and not by a long shot. If he got there, he would be unbeatable among TODAY'S competition.
