If you haven’t already, check out the training protocol thread:
http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=4944.0

Read about some of the different ones and try picking some that are quite different from what you do now or have done recently.
Or maybe look for protocols that are similar to others that have given you good results.
It's up to you.

FYI – Lots of people I know who’ve tried (true) German Volume Training have reported excellent size gains from it. Charles Poliquin a while back wrote a good article on it along with some sample splits on T-nation.
If you can’t find it let me know; I probably have the link saved somewhere.

It is often very deceiving for many lifters for that reason.
You will really question its effectiveness during the first 2-4 sets.
By sets 5&6 you’ll know you’re working hard.
Some people swear that around 7/8 the sets seem a bit easier (I disagree).
Set 9 will be approaching tortuous, while 10 should be barely completed without the help of a spotter.

BTW – it is highly advisable to have a GOOD spotter for pressing days.

there is def one downfall as i workout at home alone...im going to do some more reading over about it and see if i cant get something going...not sure if ill go gvt im going to toss around some other ideas....ive been on the last 5-6 months an upper lower split similar to dc style split and have enjoyed it but i am looking for something a little more now...thanks for the suggestion though i appreciate it....
