This thread is a microcosm of how fucking stupid most casual MMA fans are.

Rampage has beaten several all time great MMA fighters.

If you morons didn't get all of your knowledge on fighting from watching TUF and scratching your balls to videos on youtube, you would know that.

Rampage has the traits of a shot fighter, he just cant get off, ring rust, im not so sure, Rashad with his defensive style was always going to trouble rampage especially as he counters well with knock out power and rampage has no head movement and stands very upright. But to me in his last few fights he gases very easy and just cant seem to let his hands go which is the traits of a fighter losing his skills, saying that its hgard to look good against guys who are as defensive as Rashad, the guy has a very low entertainment level, I would rather watch Rampage fight stand up guys like Henderson all day everyday, Rashad bores me to tears.

He lost two fights in two years and neither in convincing fashion.

The guy took 14 months off, filmed a movie and showed up to camp needing to cut 45 lbs to make weight.

Rashad won a god awful fight on points and inflicted no damage outside of the shot he landed 10 seconds into round 1.

Maybe the weight was the issue, he gased out real quick when he had him hurt, but then so did Thiago last fight with him, no doubt defending take downs takes it out of you, but he seems very hesitant since coming over to UFC, i find guys that are approaching the end of their days as fighters have trouble cutting the ring off and also pulling the trigger when in range something Rampage has shown in his last few fights, which i put down to knowing their reaction time is not what it once was,maybe shot is a strong word, but no doubt they dont flow like they once did some guys also get this way after taking punishment like Mosely after the Vernon Forrest beating and Vernon after the Mayorga beating he got, sure UFC is different to boxing but its still fighting and a lot of guys get hesistant as they get old in the ring and their reaction time slows.
