It's a shitty bill filled with holes, crap, piss, waste, corruption, constitutional "problems" and nothingness.

There are better ways to go about this particular problem.

much better ways

they could have just gotten rid of the legal monopoly that healthcare companies enjoy and written laws to prevent the most agregious abuses and that would have taken care of the majority fo the problem

I never understand why both parties couldn't get behind repealing the McCarran–Ferguson Act which gives insurance companies exemption from federal anti-trust regulations

Yep. No competition anywhere, they can get as big as they want and do what they want without fear of regulation or the law. They get so big and so powerful that politicians won't touch them.

And now a lot of those insurance companies got integrated with large banks and on and on...

Say, why doesn't the govt. enforce anti-trust laws with the To Big To Fail banks either?

Weird.

I agree.  I"ve said many times on this site that we should have broken up the big banks but instead we took banks that were too big to fail and made them 2-3 times bigger

It makes no sense but I think at the time they were just in disaster control mode but I don't see why they can't do something now.

BofA would be a good place to start
