But, when Obama runs his campaign on fixing the debt but instead makes it EVEN LARGER (racking up more in one term than Bush did in two), the blame falls on Obama.

Or someTHING else's fault, depending on what day you catch him.

The first year of his term is due to the former administrations policies.

If you thing political and economical change happen in less than 1 year you really should get back to school.

Seriously Mcway if you cant grasp basic concepts why the fuck are you posting?

Stop wasting our time.

No Mcway you owned yourself again by not being able to read and understand numbers. Kind of like your inability to comprehend facts.

Ill help you.

Why do you think it increased the fastest in Bush's last years and in Obama's first?

The man didn't cut the deficit in half, as he said he would his first term.

Bush: 5 trillion in 8 years; Obama 6 trillion in four. Those are numbers you can't understand. And, notice the site you listed stops at the end of June. We're over 16 trillion now.

So, no matter how you slice it, FY 2010, FY 2011, and FY 2012 are squarely on Obama.

But, don't take my word for it. Look at FactCheck.org

He's been president FOUR YEARS, not one, genius.

You don't get FOUR YEARS to blame your predecessor. You were elected to do a job; you haven't done that job.

He campaigned on cutting the deficit in half BY THE END OF HIS FIRST TERM. Has he done that? NO!!

That's a basic concept you can't quite grasp.

Look at the chart.

Nope!

It's Obama's between Obama's first and second year.

Dec '08: Bush - 10.7 trillion; Dec '09: Obama - 12.3 trillion.

Difference: 1.6 trillion

Dec '09: Obama - 12.3 trillion; Dec '10: Obama - 14.0 trillion

Difference: 1.7 trillion

Plus, there's the little matter of his CUTTING THE DEFICIT IN HALF, which he didn't do.

And the increase after 1 year of Obama is because of ?

Come on you can do it.

And the increase after years 2, 3, and 4 of Obama are because of ?

Come on; you can do it.

Obama said he'd cut the deficit in HALF, by the end of his first term. Did he do such?

Come on; you can do it.

Obama made and EVEN BIGGER DEFICIT, between his first and second year, than he got from Bush his first year. And since the national debt is 16.3 trillion now, that means that by the end of his first term, the increase between years three and four will be almost AS BIG AS (if not BIGGER THAN) what he inherited from Bush.

Nobody is denying what he inherited from Bush. But, you don't get four years to blame your predecessor. At some point, YOU are responsible to do the job you said you would do.

Oh wait! We're talking about liberals here; taking responsibility is strange concept for many of them.

You do now that the deficit increases because of past and present spending right? And that spending carries from president to pres?

Look at the growth rate for 2012. And compare that too Bush's best. And this is despite a weak economy and wars.
