USA boys: too big,too noisy & too many + too much gear

Brits/Aussies: operate in much smaller numbers & very very effective

Afghanistan was the best example  ;) 8)

In the regular army, if someone lost a compass, they could face court-martial. They were extremely low on supplies due to the British led embargo.

One of my teachers at school was an officer in the Rhodesian Army, he used to tell us a bit about what it was like.
