musharraf knows world tide of opinion against the US is turning.
They came to our country and spit on our soil. And the UN aplauded. It sickened me.
What is the reason? Why is it that 95% of the world hates us? 10 or 15 years ago, many of these same nations were allied with us, so I don't think you can just say 'they hate us cause we're free' or 'they hate us being the only superpower'.
What has changed in the last 15 years? I am in complete shock that Hugo did such a thing, and so much of the world applauded.
I would say that the reason alot of the world hates the US is due to the foreign policy. Of course we have the major issues like Israel, Iraq etc but there a so many small things as well.
I can say here, were we are a pissy tiny useless wimpy nation, the US is generally not a favoured nation for a multitude of reasons.
For instance we trade with Cuba, and have flights to Cuba...so the US sent people down here to talk to our government and threatened us with sanctions if we continue to trade with, and have flights to Cuba. That is just a small example for a West Indian perspective. I mean if one pissy little island wants to sell some crap to Cuba, why butt in? That is just one tiny example. We have never had circumstances of Canada, European nations etc..butting into our internal affairs, but have had many of the US government. I do get highly amused by our governments polite refusal to adhere to the US rules, as they have for years. I mean if they attack us, what are we going to do? Throw coconuts at the marines?
