Its always the smallest dweebs like "Alexxx" who have the biggest mouths and constantly harp about heavy weights, as if they know anything about that.

None of those Nubret shots look morphed; he had perfect West Indian genetics akin to both of the Beckles. First shot's at Mid-City with Tom Minichello, sometime in the 70s. Nice guy. Drugs help but perfect genetics and training are no. 1.

serge did have great genetics and trained hard (probably) but like all the early bbers - he ate orals all day everyday.

Another shot-this one morphed too know-all? He's just jealous and can't believe it. He's benching 4 plates with a wide grip in the 2nd.

You really don't know whether that's true, actually. You have no idea whether he tried other programs and found what he ended up doing to be the most effective, for example.

Bottom line: he got results you'll never have.

the bench pic looks real, but the other one posted is clearly morphed. why cant you see that.

about the drugs - i'm not jealous nor ignorance. i realize that drugs arent the whole picture. but the rumors are that these old guys (from the 70's) took orals in crazy amounts. why would serge be any different?

that is true...whatever his did worked for him...and of course he must have lifted some heavy weights along the way to build some of that thickness.

but the part about the marathon 4-6 hour workouts, endless sets and reps with light weights is nonsense...99% of people who tried to train like that would look like complete garbage....i just think sergio could get away with alot of stuff because he was so genetically gifted.

i never said he looked like shit...he had one of the best physiques in the world for his time.

my point was that he was so genetically gifted that he was able to train the way he did and still achieve that physique.

These fake "muscles" from the 70's are the reason why most people depict bodybuilders as people with inflatable balloon of air (or water) as muscles ...
