My hair dryer just died a very noisy death.

What brand(s) do you recommend?

I have a Conair.  I like it.  :)  I have far too much hair to let nature dry it.

If you are looking for something cheapy=Conair Ion (Something).  I think if you straighten your hair out or use your dryer often, go for something a little more high end/salon style.  I think Solano makes some good ones.

CHI - on the expensive side though - over $100 depending on the type of dryer.  Also their flat irons are great.

Toxy, you should just buy some #3 Conditioning Keratase Shampoo and some of the Kerastase Conditioning masque.  Expensive, but worth it :)

The best conditioners I've ever used are KeraSilk (I think Goldwell makes it) and the Synergy conditioner.

If you can find the Kerasilk (unscented) go for it, the scented one is a bit perfumy & overpowering.

If you have curly ringlets, Kerasilk is amazing! It will trun an unruly bird's nest into gorgeous smooth txtured ringlets i a heartbeat.

The Synergy conditioner, leaves your hair feeling like silk. It doesn't just sit there, then go down the drain, it absorbs right into the shaft, and makes your hair feel glorious. You'd have to experience it to know what I'm talking about.
