there are A LOT of hotel rooms in Columbus, Columbus is probably the nicest city in the Midwest besides Chicago.

Matt C, there are many hotels closer than the one Blockhead is staying at. I dunno about cost and availability.

You can try the Holiday Inn on Lane Ave in the Ohio State campus area, the Fairfield Marriot on Olentangy River Road, the Varsity Inn also on ORR.... These are ones I thought of off the top of my head.

There's also of course all the hotels in the vicinity of the airport. You can try those. The hotels downtown and in the Short North area, while close to Veterans Memorial (location of the AC), will probably be expensive...

you could always just go the Motel 6 or Super 8 route, alot cheaper, probably only 50-60 bucks a night.
