In this country, an accused has the right to an attorney, as well as a day in court, and there has to be evidence against him that he has a right to hear, and challenge before a jury of his peers. He can't be kidnapped out of his bed in the dead of night, whisked away to some secret prison somewhere, tortured, locked away indefinitely, held without charge, all because some moron who has already risen to levels of incompetence never before seen says lock his ass up.
