Bill was awesome and to this day is still awesome.  I love seeing and talking with him everytime we see each other.  His memory is perfect and he is still in great shape.

The first time I saw a pic of him doing a side tri I thought it was morphed. His triceps are unreal! I'd recommend checking out the Dave Draper/ Bill Pearl DVD that came out last year, it's fascinating and a nice breathe of fresh air and positive attitude for bodybuilding.

Bill's one of my greatest bodybuilding idols. I read about his old strongman shows from the 50s and 60s and am fascinated by his strength.

thats because his lack of chest, legs, and shoulders lightens him up quite a bit.   but damn...those tri's look like they weigh 30 lbs each.

...although synthol wasnt around back then, i still find it odd that all you iron agers who hate on madoern pros with a standout body part and yell "synthol" wouldnt have nothing but praise for this guy whos arms are three times too big for his body, and his triceps 2 times too big for his biceps.

There are hundreds of cars today that look better than the ones yesterday but the classics still have an impact today.

candidate you simply cannot compare guys from 30 or 40 years ago with guys of today.  It is impossible.  Yes there are many that have size like he does but how did they get them.  Look at what people of today have at there disposal and what they had back then.  It is funny as hell.  And to compare guys of today to guys of long ago is embarrasing to the guys of today.  Simply because they are getting compare to guys who had hardly anything to help them get that way while the guys of today have to take mega does of drugs and have far more superior nutrition, diet and training methods.  All that and they are compare to guys who had hardly anything.

And here is a fact I bet.  If you took that pic of Bill and put it up against Coleman in a dozen major magazines including industry mags, and had a website too that asked the public whose body would you rather have I bet the majority would say Bill's by a landslide.  That doesn't say much to the direction BB has taken.

yes but the majority of the public are rediculously obese, out of shape, never ifted a weight, and voted democrats into office. they have no say in etermining who has the better body.

personally, i would chooose coleman in a second. its not even a decision.

and there are naturals today that look better than pearl...just not the triceps. and that is embarrasing to him, considering he took steroids, and they didnt.

Was Pearl a natural?  A guy who won't even eat meat seems like he wouldn't use the sauce.
