yes, though i won't go near bench now.
my shoulders feel great and i get plenty of strength from other lifts and i'm more functional and fitter than i was when i was young and stupid (when i benched heavy). i had like 90 year old shoulders when i was 18. alright if you just do weights but if you require plenty of range of motion, forget it.
to fit the criteria now i'd have to bench over 480 and that's not happening for me. some of you guys must have the joints of a silver back gorilla.
maybe with some thick ply suit and powerlifting style
