Yeah....
I'm watching Butterbean vs. Cabbage on Youtube.
After seeing that, I've changed my mind. I think Tank has a good chance.
lol, true, but cabbage has an unbelievable chin and i think butterbean struggles with the long rounds since he spends most of that time standing up.
he punched himself out on cabbage. i think he expected cabbage to go down. should have known better.
tank made a very good point about bean being so relaxed in the ring. this is probably the biggest advantage in fighting and is the reason fighters like tank and bean get away with turning up in terrible shape. it also adds to their power in a big way because they only throw power shots when the timing's right and they keep it simple, commit to the punch and just let their hands go.
seems so simple but in practise can be quite difficult when the pressure's on (as any of you that have fought before can attest to). you only get that ability with experience and that's what these guys have in spades.
i believe this fight will be similar to the cabbage one with both slogging away in close, but imo bean has the edge in punching technique and power and tank doesn't quite have cabbage's chin or stamina (it's going to be very wearing for old tank when bean starts leaning on him). tank will get sloppy and bean will find his chin.
