GVT for QUADS!
« on: December 05, 2006, 08:30:44 AM »
For the next 4/6 weeks, I am going to apply the 10 sets method for SQUATS!  Very simply, 10 sets of azz to grass squats!  Going to DROP deadlifts outta the routine for the next few weeks also while doing this!  I think it would be impossiable to do 10 sets of squats and follow up with deadlifts 3/4 days later, well at least for me!  I love deadlifts and by far my favorite lift but I need to focus on my legs a little more with more volume squats!

I need to bring up my overall leg size and being 6'3 it's a little tougher!  I can see this method working big time for legs!  Any of you do this for squats before?  JPM?

Will work for squats as well as anything else. I think you should also eventually try 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 for a while each, decide afterwards which you prefer.

10x10 for squats and front squats is not easy at all.  My first 5 sets were cake and the rest were hell....

Thanks!  Well I plan on doing the 10 sets method on back squats only!  After this cycle, will go to the 5 sets of 5 method for deep front squats and I will go back to deadlifting heavy while doing front squats!
