The judges today rewards Kamali, who suffers from Palumboism stage 2b, all smallish arms and big gut of him, over Cicherillo.
What else needs to be said?
Maybe the fact that Cicherillo seems to be content with it all...
That's how fcuked up it all is.

You knowwhat I find funny? The fact that when I was hitting the circuit in 2002-03-04...when I brought up this very issue...I was met with "quit whining...", stop complaining...", "just take whatever placing they give you like a man..." right here on this board.
And the only thing I was complaining about was being COMPARED. Having the ability to stand next to guys I had just beaten, or that we had gone back and forth in placings...
To answer someone else's question asked in this thread...Yes, I have my own ideal of what a Mr. Olympia is supposed to look like...and the physique in general. Unfortunately, it doesn't match up with what the judges are looking for. I brought that to the table at the 02 Olympia and was rewarded with a 18th place finish, behind MANY guys with large waists, bad symmetry, obvious synthol use, etc....
This has been the problem with modern BB...the judging dictates that a BB like myself have to sacrifice the small waists and attention to symmetry in order to place higher...I wasn't willing to do that.
It's no different in the womens BB...there is a direct blame to be placed on the judging criteria for rewarding the very look that wins, but isn't maketable.
In effect, the judging itself is the very thing that keeps rewarding the physiques, that don't allow the sport to progress...talk about a paradox.
Change has been slow, but much better since Jim took over. I do what I can to bring these ideals to light, and have had pretty good success with making the change that's necessary to bring BB to where it shod be...
All that being said... I think it obvious this guy Alexx is mentally challenged.
