after seeing this rhino guy lift and all the other lame bodybuilding videos who act like they are completely wasted after 5 sets of back or chest or whatever i think i need to help all who have been brainwashed by these weak ass training methods by drug users.

youtube i beleive uploads up to a maximum 100mb so thats around 18-20 minutes of footage and i can only get in about 40 sets during that time , even that is nothing. I routinely can bust out 60 sets of squats , curls , rows, bench presses, pushups, hanging leg lifts, close grip benches ect...i am disgusted at these stupid bitch workouts!

Wow DaddyWaddy, you are the MAN!!!  Dude, if you are pushin 60 sets you might as well be walking on a treadmill with your level of effort.  If you are pushing weight and really taxing yourself, you will not be pushing 60 sets.  There is a 50 year old woman at my gym who needs someone to train with her and assist in cardio.  That seems about your speed.

The worst part about your post is that you have to call out and put down others while making yourself look weak and foolish.  It takes alot to get me to post on here but your ignorance is "alot".  Wow.

the idea of a 60 set workout, especially on a consistent bases seem infinity stupid to me… to argue that the more sets you do the better BB you are is equally retarded…

you’ve got a sick look going on DW, but your theory is flawed…

the idea of BB IMO is to reach the highest level of intensity with nearly the lowest number of reps/sets as possible…

essentially, in order to bodyBUILD you really need to limit your time in the gym  to avoid burning excess calories/muscle and to allow your body to repair itself in a way that would be condusive to BUILDing muscle mass…

for me,a natural ectomorph, by decreasing my number of sets/ ie time in the gym i have been able gain more muscle then ever b4...

obviously everyone is very different, and matabolic rate has soooo much to do with the # of sets thats right for you... but i dont believe that doing 60 sets to failure is any tougher...

I agree. The reason why he is doing 60 sets is because his penis went numb and he can't get it to rise. So he must get the orgasm by all other means including pumping up around men.

Really?  I've always heard that ectomorphs need more sets and respond better to them.

def not.... for example, current pro ecto's... dave henry, and dexter (both notorious for high intensity/ low set training)... flex wheeler is prob the most famous ecto and his trianing was near super lax.... everybody is different but for the most part, if your metabolic rate is super fast, training for long periods of time is only going to hinder your ability to gain muscle...

faster metabolism = less sets + heavier weight for less reps (in comparo to slower metabolism) for muscle gains

See it is hard for me to buy into lazy training like Wheeler because he juiced to the max just like Dex and Henry as well.  They can do little training and grow, but I'm not saying you are wrong.

DADDYWADDY im not gonna come on and tell u ur wrong (even if u train pretty much the exact opposite to me), but i am curious as to why ur dieting right now??

If i was your height i think you would look HUGE and lean at about 260+

Iv never seen u look out of shape in any of ur pics and those werent diet pics, so why dont u get back to the bouffet and fill out ur big frame bro!! And even if i disagree with 60 set workouts, and would never think of trying them myself (iv been lowering volume, not increasing it) if thats what it will take to get u up in weight then do it.

Post pics of u at 260 and lean and all ur haters will dissapear.

The more I see his posts in this thread does Daddy not sound just like TA?  I am starting to think he may be a clever gimmick account.  If not, he is just trying to emulate TA's idiotic style.

i would rather prefer to be shredded year round. once im 210 i will go back to the 60 set routine for my upper body. if you think about if im doing around 100 sets for legs because of my intervals to failure on the stairmaster.

im not true adonis, but like him, it is easy to piss people off without any effort, i guess thats why i am hated, because i am confident in what i do and will not listen to UNEXPERIENCED FOOLS WITH LESSER PHYSIQUES

You burn 2200 calories during an hour of cardio and you can do 60 sets per bodypart when you train...

The only place you can spout that kind of garbage would be right here on getbig.  Say that outloud in any real gym and get laughed out of the joint.

Lance Armstrong needs an offseason cycling partner but I dont know if he could keep up with you.

Really?  I've always heard that ectomorphs need more sets and respond better to them.

actually you heard wrong.  Ecto's tend to overtrain easily so short very intense workouts will work better.  If very high volume was going to "work" for anybody it might be someone who has more endomorphic tendencies.

Everyone on this board is capable of doing a 60 set per bodypart workout.  Its called "cardio".  You arent touching the deep muscle fibers, the "2b" fibers that you need to hit to promote muscle growth.  If anything, your 60 sets will just flatten you out for about a week.

Why am I even typing this?  Ruin your physique, I have no issues with that.  By looking at your pics you are 6'6 with long muscle bellies and you are trim.  You dont need to be training with Richard Simmons weight for 60 sets, you need to do about 12 and lift some real weight.  Somebody sold you some BS advice along the way and you emptied your wallet buying it.

There is a science of bodybuilding but it has not surfaced in this thread.

Vince, science is only good and can only be applied when it is understood. Clearly daddywaddy opted for the "ignore science" route, and jumped into the pool blindly.

But hey, let see how this plays out. He has yet to step on a real stage.

and worse yet, he placed very low in a online cyber contest

Daddywaddy, i hear what ur saying, u have a desire right now to look shredded and ur target is 210. thats fine but at 6'6 bro u arent gonna look huge mate, i think you would look huge and cut at ur height at about 260 bro, and like i said, even if i dont exactly agree with ur training philosophies, i do admire a good work ethinc, and if u bust ur ass i think u could get up past 260 and then look to cut.

Yes ur gonna look defined and ripped etc at 210 but u know ur gonna get flamed on by people who say u look skinny b/c of ur height.

Training wise im following more of HIT these days, and increasing the weight i lift at every workout (if i can) but good luck to u in 60 set workouts mate.

ok, to keep it simple...

one name: Dorian Yates

1+1=2
2+2=4...
see a pattern here?
simple huh, ok if you understand the above, please read on..

the man trained 3 to 4 hours a week...... not a day

now, what the defenition of intensity?? look it up...

it has something to do with ehhhm time... and ehmmmm poundage (in this case cause we all wont want the big thingies on our arms)

give it a thought when you look around and all you see is them dummies goiing trough the motions for hours and hours... and look the same year after year....

When people first start to work out, and are still girly men waiting for their nuts to drop from their stomach, they can workout for hours on end because there is only so much muscle to be damaged; therefore the body has less work to do to repair itself. Things change when you start putting on a lot of size, and the body has a lot more repairing to do.
Years ago, I would work out for 2 hours, 5-6 days a week. Now, I only need about a 45 min heavy duty workout 3-4 times a week to achieve the same results. Any more than that, and my recovery takes forever and I won't make the same gains.
Naturally, age has a lot to do with this equation, as well as what kind of “supplements” you take, but overall, the bigger you are, the less you need.
