Size at all cost has destroyed this "sport".and I don't see any change in sight
what do you mean?..cuts looks awesome in these pics dammit
I was more referring to the current renditions of Mr. Cutler and Mr.Coleman
ooh ok..but cuts looked amazing this year too
I never liked Jay's build..too blocky..Zero V taper
i think so your wrong...v-taper anyone
I was more talking about in the relaxed position. Ummm..spreading your lats....never mind
Jay kept on trying to be Mr. Olympia, but why? Because it has a big name? He WAS the best bodybuilder of 2002, Mr. Olympia or not. Is that not the same as winning a title with a name? He was world's best in 2002, whether he had a Sandow or not.
It's a possibility. He looked incredible in 2002, but a large part of the reason why Jay won is because his back was much improved in 2006. In 2002, I don't think his back would have been able to compare well to Ronnie's - even in Ronnie's injured state. Check out Ron Avidan's pics of Jay at the 2002 ASC here:
jay cooks 10 times per day when he only has to cook 1-3 times.
Ronnie's waist was ok, but his gut was pretty bad that year. Mainly he was flat and depleted as you said. However, I think Jay would have had a little bit of size on him. Perhaps with Ronnie's back he would have still won.

Money was secondary to Jay who is already financially stable. He wanted the glory that comes with Mr. Olympia title which is something I don't really understand, but to each their own.
Jay is what he is - the best bodybuilder on the planet right now and formally #2 for five years.
