Hahaha...Gene LaBell choked his bitch-ass out.
Seagal is a pot-bellied punk with that aikido shit. The only props he gets is from marrying Kelly LeBrock. Mmmmm!  :P

Didnt Gene LaBell deny that the story took place.

Ironic and true story:
My colleague is an Aikido freak...Studied in Japan for two years, lived in a dojo for a few years out in California, literally practices with his swords everyday in the back of the building(you get the picture)...Anyway, other than that, he's relatively normal and a pretty cool guy. We get to talking one day; he's asking me about lifting; I'm asking him about Aikido and fighting...It turns out that my colleague is one of only about twenty people living in the states that is a seventh degree black belt. ( My degree may be off +\- one ). After I asked him what do all the different degrees mean and what you need to do to earn them, I asked him if I would know one of those other twenty people( I was thinking UFC)...Turns out that Seagal is one of them...It also turns out the he was/is a real bad-ass...He also told me that there is some controversy in the Aikido community as to Seagal's ranking...(something to do with his first marriage)

In his day Gene could beat the shit out anyone. And he still can at over 60

Anyone who wears a pink gi is one tough mofo.  Whatever you do, don't volunteer to be used by him for demonstration at a seminar.  I have seen him RNC people unconcious, and think it is funny.  He is one tough SOB!  Seagull had a court injunction against Gene so he couldn't speak about the shatting incident.

Gene Labelle story

Segal was taking about how his inner chi was so strong he couldn't be choked out. Gene was working with the fight extras in the movie and Segal had been acting like a jerk through the whole movie so Gene challenged him and got him in a choke...
Apparently Segal's chi wasn't strong enough because he did pass out and he shit his pants when he did it. Segal was really mad, a lot of people had seen this choke and Segal poop his pants, so Segal told everyone that if the story got out he would make sure who ever leaked it wouldn't work again.

It turns out that my colleague is one of only about twenty people living in the states that is a seventh degree black belt.

What is the name of your friend?

I took classes from Seagal in 94 and 95.
He was very good back then and not fat like now.
The guy is tall, super fast and very hard.
If you take a fall or lock from him you better be prepared because he doesn't hold back.

Now I'm more into his student Haruo Matsuoka (http://www.ikazuchi.com/)
He is the short guy who is getting thrown in the dojo in the beginning of Above the Law from Steven Seagal (
).
You can also see Matsuoka here at the 35sec mark and at the 1 minute mark)
He was a long time student of Seagal and his highest ranked student as well and also fast as lightning.
They can't see eye to eye now.

apparently, the mob didnt give a shit about his akido ranking.

supposedly segal backed down from the 350 lb. mob enforcer they brought to the meeting.
