I am sure many dudes have had something similar happen with their parents. I have just come home for the first time in over a year. The last time I was here, I was 210 pounds, and my parents thought I was too big. This time around, I weigh 240 and they are going ballistic.
Nonstop questions about whether I am using steroids, endless lectures telling me to slim down and lose the muscle, my arms chest legs and shoulders are too big, how bbing is ruining my physique, how i look disproportionate etc etc...
Now I am carrying around about 14% bodyfat, and I plan on going down to 8-10 in the new year, and I agree with them when they say I oughtta bring that down. It's their anti-bbing stance that annoys me. My mom thinks brad pitt is very muscular, and that all guys should aspire to have that kind of physique. She can't seem to understand that I love lifting heavy weights, and love bodybuilding, and want to compete in the sport when the time is right...
So this thread is where you guys can give me advice on how to deal with the folks and support if you wish, or share similar experiences you may have had...
