Anyway there is certain rule in prison to decide the treatment of certain prisoner according to the level of actions(threatened a guard...etc) isnt it?
Or there is no rule?

After reviewing the pictures and based on my own personal experience as a detention officer, I find that some portions of this incident is out of general protocol that correctional officers would normally use and for the following reasons.


1.  Titus having a blindfold on is very unusual except in the instance of a possible retalitation against fellow officers.  However, the riot gear generally prevents accurate identification.  If anything, a gag for his mouth should have been used as well.

2.  The video camera is mandatory  however the videos are generally not released to the public.

3.  Having Titus cuffed ass naked is not a standard practice and generally if there was a risk of him commiting suicide than the standard suicide smock would be issued.  If they were afraid of weapons then a body cavity search can always be conductd unless he was unruley


4.  Titus was in a restraint chair but was then placed in a motorcycle afterwards.  A department generally uses one or the other but not both.  Once a person is restrained in one way, its generally not changed until the incident that prompted restraint has passed due to the fact that no officer wishes to go through the trouble of restrainting a wild inmate again.  Generally his chair should have been simply wheeled into his cell and that should have been the end of it.




Now, Las Vegas may have different laws from SC but I feel that this act was intended to publicity embarrass Titus.  Nevertheless, he's a cold blood killer who tasered, beat, and drugged a woman to death and set her ass on fire in the middle of the desert.

He's not a thief, a drunk driver nor a rapist.  He is in jail for the murder of someone.  The last thing those cops want is a shank in thier eye.

Some of these criminals are tough as fucking nails.  They can mess up 2 or 3 guards if they had the chance.  One dumb slip up and their lives can be over.

Guards are threatened all the time.  If CT had this coming, he wouldn't have acted so damn shocked.  you all make it sound like this happens everyday.  He's been in there a year, and he looked like he never saw such a thing.  And I don't hold every guard to blame, they have to take orders.  The word in vegas is that this was a practice extraction for newby's.  I could be wrong, but that's what I heard.  Might as well pick a monster lookin guy like Titus.

You see that picture, those fellas are more dangerous than a grizzley bear.  I worked for 2 yrs with these fella's and never, I mean never hit one.  they would bite off their pinky fingers, pull off their nipples and poke out their eyes.
