I can respect that.  You have to realize though that Craig Titus is a man who has been concerned with only himself his whole entire life.  His whole existance was based solely on this hedonistic premise.

While your intention may have been noble, did you ever think Craig`s were not and that any funds to be had would only be used for whatever Craig Titus` next scheme would be?

My first reaction would be to try to ascertain a need these deputies might have for a website.  A home business, maybe to promote their hobby, or perhaps to sell leaked photos they take of incarcerated C-list junkie sports celebrities.

Religion is a social invention used to control the populace.  But here's the deal: I'm already a good person and good citizen, so I just wish that religious people could take a timeout for a second, acknowledge that religion was only created to control people, realize that people like myself don't need this type of control, and just leave us be - then they can go back to being religious.  As for the Christian god - he may exist, but Mickey Mouse may exist too.  That doesn't change the fact that Christianity is make believe.

Good post. Any one read Sam Harris's "End of Faith "? It should be read by required reading for all Americans. Religion and its' extremists and ignorant moderates are going to destroy us all.  Get active people, start denouncing religious extremists, christian or muslim, they all believe and preach violence. Dont' let them tell you any different. These people believe in the literal word of the bible and koran, which is all about killing non believers. Get active dudes.

Communism and other destructive  movements were based on religious irrationality and belief without evidence. They just took the God part out but continued with irrational myths.  YOu are right that religion will always be here but it should be in the hand of moderates not extremists and literalists.  These people are nuts and everyone is afraid to say so. Their beliefs are causing more destruction in this world with no evidence.  As far as  Islam goes there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, there isn't one page in the Koran that doesn't encourage the destruction of non-believers. There have been more sitings of Bigfoot than of  "moderate" Muslims.
