best red lobster story of all time

i got really high with my boy and we headed there for all you can eat crab legs ... there wa this little hotty 16 year old waitress on her first shift, she was looking after out table and the family beside us

this family had a little boy who must have been about 8 years old

he was blowing his nose at the table and ill never forget this waitress stuck her face right in his (in mid blow mind you) and said "blowing your nose huh"

then walked away

it was magical

make sure you get the lobster artichoke dip to start and the vanilla bean cheese cake for dessert.

for the main course, I usually go for the admirals feast, which is a plate of fried clams, fried scallops, fried shrimp and fried fish.

its awesome.

the second best red lobster story of all time:

lat year i went there for all you can eat shrimp fest with my cousin

our waitor looked exactly like the guy on seinfeld who roped jerry into filming black market movies to be sold on the street ... he was a shifty guy named james

i remember him so well because he wouldbring us double the amount of shrimp he was supposed to, and he gave us a knowing nod as he did it

the best part, i paid with my visa, left him a big assed tip, and he never put it through so lunch was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee guy!

I actually bought some from the grocery store.  On the baking aisle. Called "cheddar biscuits" or something, by bisquick.  They were very very close.  A little butter on them, and they were possibly better.

I eat there sometimes, I love the shrimp. But even if you don't like the food, they have a full bar, so you can't go wrong.

Fried Shrimp, but you don't get a whole lot of food there.  I always leave hungry.

One opened up in Rhode Island a few years ago and lasted under a year.  You can't beat the local, fresh seafood joints here.  Red Lobster is a glorified fast food.  Fresh from the freezer to the microwave, to the fryolator to your table.  :-X

Ditto, I do not think they even have those places here in MA. I think the fishermen from Glouster, Higham and Cape Cod would burn it down.

What is the food like in St Louis? What do most people eat out there? Aside from the basic fast food stuff.

there's a lot of great restaurants here, we have an Italian Neighborhood called "the Hill" with around 20 awesome Italian places, great BBQ places and the usual chain steakhouses, couple of really good German places too.

They hit it big in the mid west, but any New England seafood beats Red Lobster.  Even the all you can eat sea food buffet at Rio in Vegas was tasteless compared to what we take for granted.  The lobsters were from warm water, no claws or taste.  It went downhill from their.

In fact, you got me thinking that a baked stuffed lobster, stuffed with lobster, shrimp and scallops would rock on New Year's eve.  What I can make you couldn't get away from paying $150. for 2.  I'll make it for less than 2/3 of that and will taste better.  Nothing like  "fresh off the boat" huh 88?

I hear ya buddy. I take a nice drive down to the lobster pound in Higham MA, when I want some fresh seafood. Pick out my lobsters and steamers directly from the holding tanks on the boat. The catch is litterally straight out of the ocean. You know how great that is since they do the same out in RI.

Nothing like it!

Depends. How much was the gift card for? I'm with the others. I'd wait until they had all you can eat of something you like. I'm a crab fan but, I do recall them having lobster fest with all you can eat rock lobster tail or something like that for 24.99.

there's a bunch, we have a local chain called Super Smoker's which is awesome, another small chain called Bandana's which is even better and a bunch of small independent places which are awesome.

they do have steak and that's what i should have gotten, as a matter of fact i had a homemade steak sandwich two hours later at home, don't get the shrimp linguine alfredo, the sauce is greasy and disgusting and the shrimp are tiny, it comes with a small plate of larger shrimp scampi and some fried shrimp also, definitely get the vanilla bean cheesecake though.
