 you re right  - the fight was too long ago , and Rampage got much better since then.In his last fight he defeated Lindland.Too bad Dana is such a fool and doesn't bring MAtt back into the UFC.I still think he is the best 185 lbs in the world, and now he fights in lightheavies.HE can easily dominate the 205 class in the UFC.

He is good. Look for Rashad Evans too. He is boring as hell, but no one has even given him a decent fight yet. He could be great, he just needs a chance. They really should "push him" better imo. I think I saw that he was fighting soon, but it was loud and not sure?

chuck's improved immensely since then as well. look at the couture fight versus him now. i don't think you can say with any certainty that one will beat the other.

I like Chuck in that fight. Rampage needs to beat a big name to even get it hyped like the fight tonight was. many of the people who I watched the fight with hadn't even heard of Rampage. I am sure Dana White will change that, I just hope he doesn't put him in against a TUFFER and then give him a title shot, like they did with A.Silva.

i agree. stealing from another board: wanderlei silva knocked out rampage twice. tito ortiz beat silva. chuck knocked out tito twice. it's stupid to try and "math" out who would win, but you could easily show that chuck is the favorite in the fight.

i think it'd be damn cool to have them fight again, but why? yeah he's the last guy chuck lost to, but that was three and a half years ago, and other guys who are arguably better he's stomped apart. aside from the novelty factor there's no reason to think rampage is going to win.

think about this, also. since that fight, chuck has gone undefeated while jackson has lost three times. if he wants a fight against chuck he should have to go through some of the guys chuck has.

Lidell and Rampage will fight for sure - trust me on that, nomatter how many fights Jackson wins or loses.

Rampage was actually doing very well in the Silva fights until he started eating knees later on. If he gets his head back in the game, he's got more than enough ability to beat Chuck. dont doubt for a second chuck isnt salivating at the thought of fighting Rampage again, its the fight he wants more than anything. Hes seen off his other 2 losses with relevant ease, i think this would put his self doubt to rest. He knows, as does everyone that Rmpage beat him and now he has the chance to let that one go and put it behind him. Rampage is spent in regards to the way he fought 3-4 years ago, but he would still put up a hell of a fight

How about that free shot Arlovski got on Cruz , poor Cruz moved heaven & earth to get Andre to the ground and when the ref wanted to have them stand-up he's like no lol he should have stood up instead of getting KTFO

that was not a cheap shot if you watch it he waited till cruz moved then arloski hit him. I agree it should have been stood up not just stopped for a min. but I dont think it was a cheap shot

oh i agree, my point was just the reverse. they're both really advanced beyond where they used to be, so all of the people saying "well if rampage was in the UFC he'd kill chuck" is just dumb. it'd be a great fight, though.

Ahh, I read it wrong. I think 'Page needs a few fights to get his head back on straight before Chuck. He finally sounded like the old Rampage in his last interview but who knows with him now.
