They both owned Mariusz pretty badly in 2004......does Savikas not want to win it?

i think they compete in a different fed, hedge can clarify this,

Savikas is easily the strongest of any of the Strongman competitors, i laughed my ass off this weekend watching the WSM marathon at how these clowns were screaming and yelling about doing shit that Savikas could do as a warmup, there wasn't one guy doing WSM who is 75 percent as strong as Savikas.

Didn't Mariusz compete in IFSA in 2004? I was watching Savikas last night on OLN....

Mariusz did own Savikas in the deadlift, although it was the other way around in the squat.

Mariusz is faster, although not as strong as Savikas, so it just depends on the events if they are more static lifts or dynamic lifts..

there's no way that Mariusz could out deadlift Savikas, he may have in that one meet but that's just one meet, Savikas would totally destroy Mariusz in any static strength eveny easily.

mariusz competed in the arnold classic strongman in 2004 and got 5th place. 4th in 2003, 3rd in 2006. up against the big boys pudz gets stomped.

in 2006 on the big tire deadlift, savickas pulled 944 and pudz pulled 862. that should settle that argument.

I saw that 2004 Arnold on YouTube....Mariusz got owned carrying that wood contraption up the ramp! WTF!

I have always favored Mariusz becuase I think he could be a professional BB if he wanted, but I am beggining to think he is overrated. I mean he got stomped in 2004, and then this year he loses to Pfister?

this latest WSM on ESPN just goes to prove that the stregth differential between WSM and IFSA is huge, what do you think guys like Kevin Nee, Josh Thigpen, Phil Pfister or some of the other clowns in WSM would do in IFSA? absolutely nothing that's what, one guy who really disappointed me was that huge Canadian Dominic Filou, that guy pussied out of so many events, he looked like a turtle on qualuudes, he literally had trouble pressing a 227lb. stone that looked like a grapefruit in his hands.

Some of those guys didn't even get the first stone which was 229 lbs. Come on now these are supposed to be some of the strongest guys in the world here.
