Wow you are a hard one.  How old are you.  First off there wouldn't be a show on the same day and in the same place.  Do you know anything about BB.  Cause it really sounds like you have no idea what you are talkikng about.  Is your last name Goodrum.  The PDI is a threat to the IFBB if they don't get their shit together.  Right now the PDI is concentrating on the foriegn market and looking at the BB in foreign countries who are overlooked by the IFBB like Frey and Sami and many others.  Please do not post unless you know something about this.  It's like answering questions from a 12 year old.
don't tell him all the plans!!  ;)

I talked to Wayne day before yesterday for about 30 minutes.  The website is almost done.  It should be up this month.  He told me who has been in contact with him and who has committed.  And EVERYONE will be surprised I promise 100%.  He is has a show secured in the Caribean in either Trinidad or one otherplace I can't remember.  He is also working on one other show in Europe.  He has a few people wanting to do shows in the US but nothing definite.  He has he game plan and so far everything is going perfectly.  He is NOT trying to compete with the IFBB.  He could care less.  The proof of that is the fact he is not working on the US as much right now.  The PDI is truly going to be global.  In addition, allot of the competitors trips are paid for along with hotel.  Some major sponsors are talking.

You sound confused, big guy.  And I said 'assume', you do understand what that means, right?

no im saying judge to your own critera and follow your own rules and the winner will change on its own.  obviously If they keep giving 1st place to the guy that looks like a tomato, when in fact your supposed to look like a carrot, everyone will try to look like a tomato.  It ruins what its supposed to be.

There is no 'supposed' look of a BBer. It's all relative to what they and their competitors bring to the stage. Jay's the biggest with the most muscle size, has symmetry apart from one bicep and is ripped to the bone. Tell me he doesn't deserve to win over someone more 'aesthetic' with a smaller waist, but also smaller than Jay.

I agree that the standard sucks, but it's what it is and Jay brought the best body according to the standard of the Olympia, IMO.

I don't wish their demise...just the opposite. All the power to them. My sticking up for MY federation has nothing to do with the PDI...but Keith likes to point out that the IFBB doesn't pay anyone a salary, as if the PDI does...

As far as I know NO  BB federation pays their athletes...

Maybe they don't get paid cause they're not athletes?  :-\

I wasn't talking about Jay specifically.  For the record i've seen Jay look way better.  All i was saying was you should judge according to your rules.  I don't think it says in the rules "the biggest man wins.period." but you never know with the IFBB actually.

"statistically"? You cant compare over 200 athletes in the IFBB to 20 in the PDI.

And why do you compare a federation founded in 1946 to a new born organisation that started its business in 2006?

well you are right.  Cause more than 175 of the 200 members make zero, zilch, nada, nothing, zip from competing.  In fact they lose money every year they are a member of the IFBB.  They pay for the traveling expenses, drugs, entrance fees, and dues.  So you are right.  You can't compare.

Being that it's a subjectively judged sport...it can only be HIS truth. Complaining is just that...

Bottom line is...why complain??

why complain????  you sure do seem to complain when you feel you are judged unfairly..i believe thats where your saying comes from "sometimes you get the elevator sometimes you get the shaft."s anyway you can say what you want to but you know things need to change. the ifbb has a monopoly and controls it with old money. it bleeds the athletes dry making them appear in videos (road to the O) ect. without paying them properly.

I've complained PLENTY...about not being compared to guys I've beaten, or guys that were eventually placed 1 or 2 spots ahead of me...

I've also gotten the rules changed to reflect more comparisons, more rounds, and making it mandatory that athletes get a fair shake to those within 3 spots of them.

BTW...under Wayne's rule, the athletes did have to appear or face getting fined....since he was replaced, it up to the athletes whether or not they wished to participate...

Try and be more up to date with your opinions and knowledge, they are innacurate.
