They way I understand it, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, "bad cholesterol" is a hard, natural band aid your body places on the inside of your veins and arteries when they crack. This is how your body saves you from bleeding to death internally. Once the crack has healed, the "bad cholesterol" or band aid is no longer needed, but will stay there until the liquid, "good cholesterol" passes through and washes away the hard, "bad cholesterol".
1. To prevent your veins and arteries from cracking, increase the vitamin C in your diet. I'm not just talking pills, but mostly whole foods like fruits and vegetables that are high in vitamin C.
2. Exercise more. Exercise increase "good cholesterol" which helps get rid of the "bad cholesterol" in your body.
3. Eat clean.
After doing all of the above, some people still suffer from high cholesterol. It's a genetic thing. These people have to take medication even after changing their life style.
Hope you get better! Good luck to ya!
