I'm not a Reggie Bush hater at all, but taunting Brian Urlacher after his TD run was pretty stupid, based on how the Bears played after.

Classless, but not really stupid.

Classless, but not really stupid.

To the extent that it created motivational force for the opposing team in what was a tight game, it was also stupid.  For example:

"In February of 1967, Ali faced Ernie Terrell in the Astrodome at Madison Square Garden. Terrell had refused to acknowledge Ali's name, and the champ vowed to punish him for this perceived insolence. Even though the fight went to a decision, Ali delivered a horrible beating and won every round. He kept taunting the challenger throughout the fight: after every hit, Ali hollered 'What's my name?'"

Lesson: never allow your actions to inspire a worthy opponent

No contest. Beckham getting that red card.

The misery he had to go through in England due to it...

It's a disgrace.

Poor man.

Recently - Trevor Brennan

He was always a hot headed rugby player, but climbing into the stand and fracturing a fans skull for singing a song about his pub for selling bad Guinness...

Kermit at 6'8' 235 pounds of muscle saw Tomjanavich out of the corner of his eye running down the court. A punch with bad intention coming froma big man, made worse by Rudy T. running full blast into it. Rudy almost died. Kermit was the first NBA player to lift. You know to this day Kermit never really gave a full apology?

He was more or less paid to protect Abdul-Jabaar, punched him so hard Rudy could taste spinal fluid, that's when they knew it was really bad.

SI reported that Clarett would carry around his own personal water bottle that never left his sight.  Broncos players reported him saying on many occasions that he had to get his goose on.  Grey goose vodka that is.

Ali continuing to fight after 1975. Ditto Joe Lewis later in his career.

Tyson having anything to do with the cancer Don King.

Marvin Hagler taking the Sugar Ray fight well past his prime after he'd slowed down, which Leonard knew. Without a rematch clause that included balanced purses.

Roberto Duran continuing to fight after beating Sugar Ray.

Hollywood Henderson's infamous "cat" soundbite pre-Superbowl.

Fred Williamson's threats pre-Superbowl, before being knocked out of the game. ::)
