Put a tac in your shoe or a sharp rock and sit down and study, and every time you get a answer wrong push down on the tac and prick yourself. Should relieve some excitement
actually not a bad idea...

Easy to test for. Most unis have a health office where you can have this done, confidentially.

1) yes, you have ADHD. All one has to do is read your posts to figure out that much.
2) you also have AIDS.
2) Take a fuccking Xanax or something before the test.

If you're gonna take it long term, see a doc to get advice. Many people with anxiety take it daily. I just thought you wanted something to chill you out for your test.

Horrible idea for most. Probably the most addictive class of drugs there is. I think Toxic may have a touch of OCD. A serotonin booster might help.

They are very frequently prescribed, and can help anxiety sufferrers a great deal. Having said that, notice I suggested Toxic see a doc? Since neither you nor I are doctors, that's probably what he should do.

Perhaps. ADHD persons often are known to use amfetamine and E to try to self-medicate their disorder, and it becomes a drug addiction. See a doctor, if y'er ADHD'er, you'll get a prescription for amphetamine and will be able to use it at the dosages that can able you to function like the rest of us. Good luck. -Hedge

I have adhd too, I get the same feelings you describe. If you'd like to test something out on yourself, get some ephedra, something time released, like lipo-drene, and see how it effects you. WHen I take ephedra, I get very calm, very focused, my mind seems "clear" and im able to better concentrate. As opposed to normal people, who bounce of the walls and shit like theyre on speed. If ephedra mellows you out, you prolly have it.

I dunno. I often wonder if I have ADHD, too. Very gittery and anxious alot of the time, but never been tested for it. You should go to a doc and have a test done.

The mind is a powerful tool. There is a way you can control these habits without having to drug yourself. That's a rediculous idea at best. For your problem of getting up when you answer a test question wrong, learn a mantra or put your mind in some kind of peaceful state. You KNOW that your body is your slave. You give it the orders. Why should you let it gain control of you in a stressful/exciteful situation? Assure yourself before you uncontrollably get up to walk around that you don't HAVE to get up. You want to due to the fact that you're used to doing it. It's sort of programmed into your mind but you know it's nothing more than a stupid habit. One that stresses you out, embarrasses you, distracts you and keeps you from performing at your best. When you have a compulsive habit you feel a need to act it out. If you don't, well, you get anxious. But if you control it and tell yourself to quit being a bitch and deal with the anxiety, eventually the anxiety will lose it's strength until you have your thumb over the dumb habit. And it's defeat would be quite a victory!
