Whats wrong with 85 pound dumbell rows? If you do them properly on a bench, back flat, pulling your hand even with your bellybutton, not up under your armpit while minimizing the bicep's involvment...its a decent amount of weight. I work up to 85's, 10 reps each hand for two sets to start off my back day every other week. Its heavy for me and I feel it for the next couple of days. Since I top out 8-10 reps at 185-195 barbell rows, 85's make sense.
I thought the point of bb'ing was to use the weight you can safely and with proper form move for 8 to 10 reps ?
