well you're claiming he's lying or joking in an interview.  why would he do that?  it's not a funny joke if it is a joke.
I guess it's an inside joke. Hell, even Arnold, Samir bannout etc joked with newbies, lying about their nutritional habits. At least Nasser didn't say you should eat cat food LOL.

Are you familiar with the plasma expander joke he played on Milos? Milos could have died.

Yes he is joking. Remember, with a straight face he told his good friend Milos to use a certain amount of plasma expander. Milos did, Nasser laughed. All a joke.

What do you think Nasser told his fans at FIBO here, regarding diet questions?

You bet he told them some tall stories.

Dude he was being sarcastic

because you don't need any more than that, doesn't the fact that he is the size he is with minimal protein tell you anything?

Yes it tells me he should go back to eating like he did when he was actually trying to become an elite pro. Everyone knows Nasser eats once twice a day and like crap now.  Its 2007....when did Nasser look his best? 1996-1997 ten years ago. Has he gotten any better/bigger in the last decade with how he eats now?

I agree, when I started this topic it was because it really surprised me that he claimed to build muscle on this small amount of protein/calories.  I guess when something sounds too crazy to be true it usually is

yes i read that on nassers homepage several years ago. (100g p...and 3000-4000 calories)..if its true or not i dont know...but he also states that he eats 3000-4000 calories per day in one of his nasser on the way videos (he is doing a seminar).

Also alot of bbs take in way too much protein..(including the insane amounts doggcrap prescribes...is understandable..the guy sells protein powders) 1g protein/lbs bw is enough offseason if you have a positive caloric balance (250-500 over maintaince level)

good question. you have to ask yourself as a bodybuilder, what have i to lose or gain by telling ppl i eat 100g of this, and 200g of that?
think about it, some ppl seem to have this idea high protein is touted as the ''in-thing'' so supplement companies can make loads of money, because you *need* 400-600g per day

so isnt it a bit illogical when loads of bodybuilders say they only eat 100g of this n that? isnt it going against the supplement industry!?? or perhaps the whole thing is just a load of bollocks?

He says that in the offseason, 80% of his calories come from carbs, and the other 20% are proteins and fats.  If he only consumes 100 g protein in a 3000-4000 calorie diet, that's 400 calories, or 10% of 4000 calories.  That would make his diet 80% carbs 10% protein 10% fats.

I'm not sure, but on Eryk Bui's site, he says he only has 100 g protein/day as well.  Then again, hes a totally different body type than Nasser, and much smaller, but the difference in size is most likely due to genetics.
