Jay Moore (vs. Branch)

Back in the 1990s, Jay's and Branch's physiques were pretty much the same, but in just a few years Branch blew up and Jay pretty much stayed the same.  They used to train together.  Why couldn't Jay keep up with Branch?  Was he just not willing to juice as much...?

Even here you can see they are headed in very different directions.

Jay Moore was too ugly. Naturally branch blew passed him. I destroyed Jay Moore on MD to the point where he no longer posts there.

He did have potential... I'm just wondering what went wrong.  Maybe his heart wasn't in the whole going pro thing.

Please, you're making something out of nothing. Jay NEVER had the same development/potential as Branch.

Branch was 23 in 99? I just looked it up on musclememory... dude was born in 1975! He's 31/32 now... Impressive in a way, but also he looks damn old for his age..

He placed 4th in the Junior USA in 2001 and was the heavyweight and overall winner in the Texas State Championships in 2005

Sure and that picture you included is from 2004 and yet even there he looks 3 tiers below Branch from 1999. Branch in 1999 could have placed in the top 10 in a pro show. Jay in 2004 (or in any of the pics you show) couldn't have placed top 10 in an NPC nationals.
