My old roommate (non-BBer) had calves almost as huge as Mikes...at least appearance-wise. And his dads (also a non-BBer) were even bigger. No BS. They had sick forearms too. Wish I did.

If your talking about the pic of him in awhite and black leotard, standing next to Lenda Murray and Paul Demayo, yes Flex's calves were off the hook in that pic. Escilene  is more likely the culprit. Because Shawn made up that rumor, and it f'ed with Flex's head

I think Flex was known for injecting synthol in his delts and calves.  There was a time that I thought that he may have done the same with his biceps (if not synthol, the he used esceline in the arms)
