exactly, if you yell and scream you're a moron and you don't belong in a public place, they don't let you do that bullshit anywhere else, why should a gym allow it?

I never feel the need to start screaming when I train. For the most part, serious trainers get annoyed by people slamming shit and screaming. Obviously places like planet fitness take the concept to far. But, a place like bsc, nysc, golds, whatever, let you train as long as you do not get to aggressive with it. I mean honestly, does it make you lift harder if you scream YEAH MOTHER FU*KER before a set? Do you get bigger throwing 225 lbs ten feet in front of you after a set of rows?

I let out a few loud grunts, or maybe dropped a weight a little to hard at bsc, but they never gave me a hint of shit for it.

I will take a nice, clean gym anyday. As long as they let you do your thing ( while acting resonable) that is all you need!

I usually workout at 6am and there are usually a few people around. But this morning it was 9 degrees with a wind chill of -9

No one showed up...it was totally awesome, had the gym to myself.

maybe next time I will include a picture of me benching some godly amount of weight   :-*

same weather here and the gym was crowded.

Sydney, Australia. I go to a pretty small gym compared to the Fitness First's or Gold's chains, but seriously. That's a shitload of machines right there.

It was a serious question. Sorry if it seemed like I was flaming you. Just wondering if you where from a smaller city!

No chance of that. Sydney's one of the biggest cities in the World. I just train at a small gym. :)

looks real hardcore  :-\

I'd like to know where these mythical "hardcore" gyms are, besides Animal Pak ads.

Any gym Iv'e ever been a member of in the last 20 years looked pretty much like the pic. Well equipped, clean.....a place I would pay money to work out there.

i have a rule when i enter a gym,,
i will not give them the privilege of me training there if
1 towel is needed
2 weights should be put back in place
3 wearing sports shoes is a must

i dont see towel as needed,,little sweat dont hurt no one
i dont have time to put weights back in place when pushing heavy weight and try to keep intensity,,nothing will happen if the next guy add another 2 min to his session and move them off or use them,,will make him stronger.
if you drop the weight on your feet,,you were either using too much weight or paying too much attention to the local whores

So after heavy deads or plate loaded Hammer strength exercises you just leave it?

I see some guys do this. They just leave the plates on and move to the next exercise. Most people do re-rack them in my gym.

9F ?! so what.... thats like our high. Its -3 right now and dropping... I wont even talk about windchill.

I was outside by 5am this past morning doing parking lot lunges. All I had on was my otomix high tops, some muscle pants,  and a doo-rag.  The burning determination to make monster gains and crush my enemies was enough to keep me warm.

Now thats hardcore...bro
